Minus 5 is the coolest! Its a must for all travelers. The venue is an ice bar chilled to minus 5ยบ, everything is made entirely out of ice - the seating, the bar, the walls and even the glasses. Its just so beautiful - everything is an eerie icey blue colour. All visitors are requested to wear overcoats, gloves and hats (which are supplied) at all times. So there's no need to worry about being cold. They also make for even more fun, as everyone looks the same! I believe there are other Ice Bars in New Zealand - (Auckland and Queenstown) so if can't get to Sydney go to NZ. Entry to the ice lounge is $30 which included a vodka cocktail - i had a Snowflake - orange and passion fruit with Absolut vodka. Pretty cheap really for the fun we had. Afterwards we warmed up at the Lenin bar just down stairs - this place was the perfect place to warm back up and yes i had a few more vodkas - they had over 70 different types of vodka from around the world to choose from. Its also the best place to see the sites - the bar is right at Circular Quay so you get a great view of the Opera House, the bridge and the harbour. I just loved Sydney and minus 5 was one of the best experiences I can take home with me.
