Ass.......holes!!!!!!!!!
Would be nice for the bar to employ competent security. Non roid raged, inappropraitly physically man handeling, bullies.
There time would be better spent managing people who ARE actually aggressive to others, interfering with women.
Otherwise bar staff fantastic and WAS having a really great time.

okay, i was a cav girl for a few months but every night i went to the vic about 7 nights every week. I just could not get enough for it i really enjoyed bands and the staff i loved the most they would drink with me and dance with me and con me into to doing babe nation one night when i was soba its was good to take the cash that i won. trust me the vic is better then sex so go there.
The Vic is good...just spent last night there for New Years...Bar staff alot friendlier than other Nightclubs in town, Security are total wankers but...
The VIC is absolutly the place 2B! I really loved that place! I've been working there 4 about 4 months and even when i had my nights off, u could find me there. Lots of different theme night. I really loved the Coyote Tuesdays, Rock nights and sexy unifrom party's!!! Dressing up with all the staff was usually so much fun! Defintly the place 2 get pissed!!!

My boyfriend is one of the DJ's (not one of the flerty one's) and the whole crew are good friends of ours. Great to see a good friend of ours the "Hot toddy" back. We all missed you. The music is great the vibe is fun and always a positive atmosphere... The vic goes off..the place to be
I AGREE WITH MISS HEIDI STEWART! (Mwahz! Luv u girl!) Ok Ok so there's a few ppl who say the Vic (as us Darwinians call it) is a complete dive.. Sure there's your typical sleazebag guys and girls but hey, what would a club be without them? There'd be no one to b*tch about! Anywayz, as a local, I would have to say that the Vic is pretty damn good and yes the rumors are true, it really does GO OFF! If ur scene is hot chix on tables, an awesome line up of Dj's and friendly ppl everywhere, then the Vic is for u.. Especially Saturday nites! Can I get a woop woop!? The Vic Hotel in the heart of Darwin City is a must when you are visiting Darwin or when you just need a good night out away from all the Hustle & Bustle.
The Vic is surrounded with FUN LOVING people, from the Bouncers to the Bar Staff. The music is AWESOME and the DJ's always play a mixture of tunes which will make you melt to the floor or sky rocket off the tables.
Dress standsrds do apply but most of the time you can pass the Bouncers wearing as little as the skankiest clothes or as much as your old favourite pair of jeans.
A mix of old style music and music you could get your kit off too. Loads of guys and great people, and even loose your inhibitions to dance on the tables it is a great feeling. definatly should be the place to go when in Darwin.
try hard, arrogant bar. nice enough setting, food was great, but bar staff were too cool and the managers were too sleazy. about 95% guys, too mucj testosterone
very laid back goes off on a friday and saturday night. fun lovin bar staff you may even get one to go home with you
Very active, lots of dancing on tables and very Aussie. Not many women, and low dress standards.
