The VI bar and nightclub. by Average joe
I just got back from this place, it is friday night....at first when entering i thought the place was pretty fun, there were tonnes of people! but as the night went on i counted 7 fights! and im talking big fights here. One dude broke a beer bottle and tried to cut the other guy with it. I must say the bouncers got their quickly and got rid of the drunken idiots quickly. Although having an o.k time at this bar i am sure that i will not be returning due to the violence.....it just ruins your buz!
Amanda’s review is somewhat prejudice, telling tourists not to come to Bradford because it does not live up to her expectations is somewhat one sided. I have been around the world running and managing some big bars and night clubs, I currently reside in Bradford, and I can tell you that the place is a lot of fun, do not expect a polished, marble, attitude bar. It’s a great place to check out a band on a Friday night, the people that go to the bar are not fake, they are genuine. This is evident in any small town bar in Canada and Even the US. “Try the Viper Club in LA, it’s a hole in the ground compared to the “Bradford Village Innâ€â€¦..
I would not recommend the village inn for tourists or backpackers. I live closeby the village inn (great for the locals as it is close to home) but it is a dark sketchy (although safe) bar. There are also strippers in the basement.
Not worth your while to travel away from Toronto as there is nothing interesting to see in the area. There are other much MUCH better bars in the city which i would recommend, such as the brunsick house, the madison house, etc. A lot of fun in the heart of toronto.
The best REAL party I had while in Canada. The People are friendly and the atmosphere is great.
