Not sure where the 200RMB a beer comes from in a previous comment, but that is definitely 100% incorrect. Good place, with cruisy atmosphere, decent food, very good wine selection (with some reasonable priced entry level wines, which is very unique for Shanghai), and good selection of beers (not priced at 200RMB). Bob - a local Chinese guy who is a manager there is really knowledgable in wine, and actuaqlly taught himself English by working there. A good Outdoor section in summer will be great. Watching Ashes Test matches and having a curry at Vedas and then accross the road for some good wines after. Is definitely a must.

Really bad place, .....no one there at 10PM, maybe the reason is expensive; can you imagine a beer is RMB 200($25), kiss my ass!

A friend of mine worked in Senses, says it is a wonderful place to be. I haven't been there yet, but will go there one day.

Senses Wine Lounge is a restaurant/wine bar on 515 Jianguo Xi Lu, Shanghai, just 10 minutes from Hengshan Station. Their extensive wine list and excellent dinners set them apart from other bars, allowing patrons to enjoy a posh, yet relaxing environment. Stop in and see for yourself! http://www.senseswinelounge.com
