Hi Guys, Anyone know a girl called Xiao Wei in bar called Woodstock in Shanghai (Tongren rd.)? I am going to Shanghai and heard that she is pretty and available for entertainment also outside the Woodstock bar. Please let me know if anyone has experience!!

Me? I think it's a great place. It's got the best music in Shanghai - wall to wall 70s & 80's rock.
OK, there are hookers but unlike the rough and ready on Julu, they will leave you alone if you just want a beer with your mates. If want a woman for the night, that's your choice. You can say no !!
So get yourself down there. I've taken loads of my friends there who've come to visit Shanghai (males and females) and they all love the place.

To the guy who posted "your review is stupid"... boy did that come off as a "you're a stupid head, nyah nyah" message. Anyways, you're obviously new to Shanghai and to Woodstock. Woodstock is one of the predominant prostitute bars in Shanghai. I know the former manager there, and the waitresses aren't paid, or if they are very little. Instead they make their money from drink commissions ("will you buy me a drink") and going home with the usually older businessmen.
One night I was there and saw one girl go home with a guy, come back an hour later, go home with another guy, back an hour later, and finally go home with another guy... must have made some quid that night!
P.S. Woodstock was on Maoming Road LONG before Tongren, so "you're review is stupid"

The bar at Tong Ren Lu, Shanghai didn't open until March 2005 so your review is stupid. A great place, cool decor, great music great staff, no hookers.
Waitresses short change you, seems there are more hookers than customers, owner chose not to put ANY money into decor. And yet they want to overcharge you for watered down beer...
