Lao Wai Hang Out by Fast Sam
I found The Raven to be a solid hang-out during my stay in Shangri-La with a pool table upstairs and outside deck for some great people watching. There were always plenty of local and visiting Lao Wai (foreigners) to talk with as well.
Apparently (and I beleive it!) the first bar in Zhongdian (Shangri-la). This place has a got knowledgeable owners, a great atmosphere, great music, great coffees and an unbelievable range of drinks.
They also have opened a hotpot restaurant up the road - equally worth checking out.
