Just read a bad review of the staff in this bar, really surprised, I own a flat in dubrovnik and always pop in the gaffe for a few, the same staff have been there for years and always make me welcome. Andy J, what you on about!
Rudest most disinterested local staff I`ve ever seen. I work here but unless the other two Irish pubs shut down you won`t find me in The Gaffe
We all watched the rugby and had a great craic!! The owners Alan and Debs are Eglish, but most of Scoucer Als family are from my home town.... Good atmosphere, great pub food.And of course the black stuff.
Watched the Rugby finals here, great time all types of folk enjoying the banter. Friendly owners Alan and Debs, yes they are English, dont say they are not!! But Al scoucers family are all from my home town. Great pub must give it a try.
What a joke Irish pub English Run,The staff where so RUDE they would rather watch waterpola than give there guest service and at those price that they change.WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!
Gaffe Irish Pub, Dubrovnik.. Nothing really Irish about it, except Guinnes which was not very good. Staff were rude and toilets were appaling as they were outside so not easy to use if it was raining. Showed Sky sports but staff refused to put on match when we asked, they were watching waterpolo instead.
stayed in dubrovnik many times,the gaffe probably one of the best pubs in the old town,alan who owns the place shows all the footy,food is top notch and reasonable,the staff are all locals and very friendly(nick is spot on with directions of places)can`t go to the old town without going there,if you like your guinness you`ve got to go here
Visited the Gaffe last August. Friendly place, reasonable prices, Good burger and hummus!! Debs and Al an English couple own it and found it a great place to go. Watched the cricket and they show all the footy matches.
