Comfortable clean rooms and dorms.
The rooms on the roof have a brathtaking view of the lake and the surronding mountains.
The restaurant in an awesome garden and offers superb, inexpensive food with heaps of veggie options.
The friendly staff is both national and internationl.
Gorgeous green leafy garden, sweet and friendly multilingual staff, cheap and very tasty food.
A must if you are in San Pedro.
I found the staff here rude and the rooms were not that impressive for the price. The atmosphere was also a bit Disneyish.
My big beef, though, is that they treat their customers like children, not letting them bring anyone back to their rooms. If Im paying money for a room, I better damn well be able to invite guests into it. They really need to change this ridiculous policy. I stayed in 3 other places in San Pedro where they give you the key and then dont feel the need to babysit you.
I despise the use of a must or a must see/do. I would have selected excellent or first rate. Suffice it to say, I have no dispute with prior posters, and were I to return that way, I woulnt look past Jarachik. I recall the day I returned after summiting Volcan Pedro, hobbling (extensor fatigue) with two sticks The cooking ladies gave me concerned looks. Piernes - mucho dolor! I explained. That Burrito Mexicano really hit the spot. The place was hep but homey. Thanks, Mark of the Netherlands, from Gringo Roy of Indiana, who shared a seat from Antigua.

party at Jarachik
jarachik had a party last weekend with deejays and live music....what a partyspot it is!!!
the place was rocking and rolling, we spend all night there...
they have a nice chill out roof to hang out and a bonfire...
next week there will be a full moon party and we will definatly be there...good music and vibes!!!!!!
Jarachik is known as one of the most busiest places in San Pedro.Known for its ambience and even more famous amongst travellers for the food.
Jarachik has a beautiful garden,frequently visited by hummingbirds and is full of amazing plants and flowers.
there is inside and outside seating in the garden with a nightly bonfire and music.
Once in a while there is live music and parties .
From our rooftop you have view on the lake and volcanos.
Jarachik opens at 8 am and closes at 12pm and is located at the maintrail at the other side of town!
