Not a place for women to go to alone. But not as bad as people make it out. This place is a dive to be sure. Mirrored walls and a grotty bathroom with a shower.
may be the bar is ok or not, but its a bar. go there, get some drinks, look at hat chicks, screw a hot chick and the bar is great. a must go. if you go there, didn't drink alchololic beverages, didn't meet any chick, and above all didn't screw, Rambo is a screwed up place. YOU DIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found the Rambo bar this time in Kolkata! It is foul and definitely not famous! Nobody in town could remember seeing it and I walked the full lenght of Free School Street before spotting it.Hey,There are so many cool bars in Kolkata why are we discussing this one??
Yes, Rambo is definitely a shady joint, but if u want to get a kick out of Indian made beer, then dude this is the place. And for Mr. Vajpeyi - this is a quite famous pub in Cal, situated in the Free School Street just before the Jamuna Cinema Hall crossing.

I have lived most of my life in Calcutta. Never heard of the Rambo Bar. This guy must have searched long and hard for this one!

Seedy & toxic smelling place. Small square room with mirrored walls. A lot of locals mixed with the occasional adventurous traveler. They must pump some chemical out with the airconditioner - it is toxic in there. And the beer is shite too. All india
