Would like to thank Alex for this posting. A city this big really needs some decent coffee places. Coffee at this bookshop was very European, surprising since it is Indonesian coffee. The retail packs we brought are just keeping us going.
You think finding a coffee in a city of 12million in one of the worlds biggest coffee producing countries is easy? Think again its damn hard. After 8 days in Jakarta and on my second to last day before heading to Singapore I found this place tucked away next to a supermarket in Kamang. The coffee was apparently local. say apparently because it was seemingly too good to be local. Great coffee, good food and of course I stocked up on books. The coffee was primo, the books perhaps a mistake as I found Singapore had a great selection of book stores. Nevermind.
