i love the cottage because its enjoyable the staff the great nice and fast u should go some time
Move to the town about a year ago and The Cottage became my number 1 bar in the town. It is warm both in heat terms and in the greeting from the lovely staff.
The smokers area is always a meeting place for a chat and whatever is to follow.
Go there and you wont be a stanger as everone is always welcomed.
The cottage is one of the best bars in Letterkenny to start off your weekend! so chilled out and original, you wont find another bar like this in Letterkenny. Last summer I brought my mates from Poland and France and a few lads from Dublin back home and we went there, they really loved outside area at the back and the little tea cups and all lol.. They always wanted to come back up and always mention the Cottage. Can't wait to come back up home and get a pint in there, in reference to who ever left the comments about the bar man bein gay, What does that have to do with the review?? its a bot sad that his name is mentioned aswell, I am gay aswell but come on show some discretion imagine his boss reading this!?
I went to cottage last weekend was full sat night went in sunday and made it my business to no who conar was, i was actually well out of it. I asked him to get me a taxi at end of night when i went out with mates i slipped him my number he ranged half hour later i meet him in car park beside pub he is well fit and good body. the things he wanted to do was made i was turned on
I was up in cottage last week and thought it was shit hole honestly its like walking into a saloon in the wildwest and every1 looks at you. im tall tanned lad and we were all out in a group im 21 play gaa; the only good thing was a lad bhind the bar called conar, he eyes me up all night and i sneaked away from milan and went back down, he was cleaning up and we went a walk i didnt realise it was a gay bar in cottage. really lads if ur touring go in and ask for conar hes not out but really fit. hes so fit and big lips ohh he did the business
Good guinness, great fire. but be in early on a sat night if you want a seat!!

its the worst pub u culd ever go to. it so small n can berly hold two people.
lovely place for a wet afternoons pint in front of a roaring fire. personnally i found the staff and other people grand!
Its grand for a few pints during the day but a lot of smelly people b in it in the evening and its a small pub.
yes the arty crowd hang out there, yes they look down on everybody, yes they are pretentious in the extreme, the bar staff are extremly rude, the service is slow at best, fire is nice but the place is pretty filthy & lots of students hanging out is not always a good thing. there are some hot blokes alrite but sadly, i'll have to refer you back to my point about the arty crowd, if yr lucky they're just pretentious, alot of them are obnoxious beyond belief. any bar in the town is preferrable.
a quaint place. Not a superpub by any means. Good pint and real fire!! Pity all the Arty people hang out and look down on everyone else, though a student fav during the day
the toilets are dirty , the bar staff are not that nice , the pint just about passed
It's has a really buzzin atmosphere., the tunes are bangin. for all u single girls head to the cottage cause the men are hotties
