Friday Night Best Night. Well Known for it but other nights the bar is ok to start off in
Voodoo has moved, its further out of town. Seems they have a deal with the red taxis so you dont get ripped off. Now being run by some Brits (but don't hold that against em :) )
Music was out of this world, top class DJ playing a mix of RnB and house, the dancers are stunning and don't get you to buy expensive drinks and the drinks are discounted so the lads loved it. Great night out, no ticket touts or inflated bar bills, if we come to riga again its on our list :D
Voodoo Lounge is a must..there was 25 of us up on a hen party, On a friday the combination of the Dj in the lounge before the band is great. The dj Ro he told us his name was is a blast from the past fires out the old tunes like billy joel etc we were singing away. We went to the same place on sat and headed the club on not as dancie as we exepected which to be honest we missed as first time we were there it was banging and we were looking for a change. Chart music is always reliable though so we danced away. Very expensive club though €12 in and V expensive to drink in. Good spot though

We are a group of girls who are in letterkenny for the bank holiday in north from south belfast. Went to voodoo looking for DJ scoup and was told that he doesnt dj there on fridays or saturdays we seen him in derry but hey its still good club and bar but needs that DJ back cause he rocks!!!!!! wel be back in mid summer....get him back if you work their

AFTER GOIN THE WHOLE WAY TO VOODOO MY BROTHER IN LAW GOT STOPED AT THE DOOR AND SAID HE WASNT ALOUD IN BECAUSE HE WAS TOO DRUNK-WHAT ALOADA CRAP. HES 27 MATURE ENOUGH & HAD 3 DRINKS ONLY!! COULDNT BELIVE IT!! THEY JUST LOST ALOTA CUSROMERS BECAUSE OF IT! WE SURE WONT BE BAK AGAIN EVER!! LAST TIME I WAS INIT-IT WAS EMPTY ANYWAY, ITS AWAY TO HELL THE PAST WHILE!!! DRINKS IN MILAN, SISTERS SARAS,WOLFTONE, CLANREE & GALLAGHERS ALL 3E!!!!!!! BETER SPENDING YER MONEY THER!! THE GRILL ALSO HAS COME A LONG WAY-IT ROCKING NOW!!!!
Did the Friday Night, not what I thought it would be, Charts etc. we were told it has changed tho, not as many names and the old resident has gone.. Drink was dearer than others we went to and I agree with the inferior thing. Nice enough decor but not the superclub we had been told.
voodoo-friday nites is the best, world class dj's most fridays, if ur in 2 ur funky,electro,house-fridays is the nite 2 go!!! even if theres not a big dj in, the resident(tony watters) is amazeing! saturday nites is a different scene, can be really packed,just an average dj on the decks playing all the charts and cheese, so it all depends what ur into!! but the main thing is theres plenty of WOMAN on the both nites! haha
By far the best bar in Letterkenny...and that goes for staff, doormen, and management as well as design, decor, live music, dj's and atmosphere!!
Disregard all negative comments below, as they have obviously been written by immature drunken idiots who dont have a clue what they are talking about. Youl find that most of the ones complaining about 'rough doormen' are the ones who purposley start trouble then complain about getting thrown out. They are easy to spot from the mentality of their reviews below.
I go out alot all over the country, week in week out, and Voodoo Letterkenny is very very hard to beat in any category.

After not being in Voodoo for a few months i finally checked it out again and man has it gone downhill. The carpet's stink, the price is totally ludacris at €12 on a friday and €15 on a saturday. Do they know there is a recession on????
They dont even have ANY big name dj's anymore and it seems to have got rid of the resident DJ of the year of 2007. You would swear they are trying to destroy themselves. And from what i hear the owner Jason Black is an arrogant self-richeous man who treats his staff poorly and from what i hear his wife too!
will not be going near this hole again. Thank God it's not the only club in town
This would be an excellant club, it's well laid out, plays a good mix of chart and cheese.. except that the staff are simply rude, and the customers are d**h**ds, pushy and rude also.
I wont be going back.
Nice enough bar and club. Poor service and the drink seems a bit inferior, not only are the dashes from a gun but not a bottle, some of the spirits are not the brand you pay for imo

Hi. Been in voodoo a few times. It is good. They seem to be the only club outside Dublin willing to try different things. The bar downstairs is AWESOME. Staff are great at times and security seems pretty fair and professional. May it carry on for a long time. Go Voodoo....... !!!!!!!!!!
The only decent music that i have ever heard there was chris ward who now has had airplay all over the world and is playing the big venues in this country. The pub has got persevere with great original artists to be in anyway original ant treat the locals to a bit of originality..
dont know what night club some of the people on here were at but VOODOO is the place to be fri sat sun nights as for the bar staff fast and good crack doormen know what to do quicky with no fuss and are good crack when you get talking to them they are there to do a jod so let them do it if you do one thing this year tryTHE VOODOO you will love it
crap bar crap music crap doormen crap bar staff what is there left to say not much yes thats right the doormen seem to get a kick out of putting people out and are as rough as they can be with them seen it happing more than once keep away
not a great club full of young people who dont know how to have a good time unless they fight or take durgs bar staff are as slow as f$%^& when it comes to getting you a drink djs are not bad but not that great doormen apemen more like it some of them cant even talk just gunt never be back stay clear of it
went to voodoo last weekend two nights dont ask why i went back the second night just crap to many in to many filghts bar staff are ok door staff need to come out of the dark ages just pure dick heads to rough i wont be back ever
im a freestyle PODIUM DANCER in voodoo letterkenny and i can well say its the best club ive ever worked in pullin in the biggest line up djs ever. the staff r all amazin, the dancers r not a threat, we r there to enterain and anjoy the crack with u all especially the girls. tony watters the resident is the best on a friday nite ;) the place is pumpin, everythin ya need for a night out. so people just go there if u enjoy it, ul on put a downer on other peoples nights if u go. as for us being cheeap stripin tarts, im a nurse as a say job, got a boyfriends, and dance with my private parts covered so i dont think we fall into that class, jealousy! TO ALL U VOODOO LOVERS- we love u all!!!!!! xxx
Best nightclub in Letterkenny by far and has proved it by being nominated in the top 5 nightclubs in Ireland and tipped to win it. Keep up the good work Jason!!!!!!!!!
what a club just great light show out of this world staff great music great worth coming u from derry for i went to chinos in buncrana for years no more 30 people in on the last bank hoilday so stay clear of chinos vodoo is the place to be .

We spent 1 week in letterkenny touring we went last night to the grill it was shite plus the staff were as ignorant we ate in restaurant and they was so hateful went went up to voodoo and man what a place. i cant believe how we were traeted in grill because we were aussies bouncers tried to do things to us and music shit any1 touring don go here go voodoo
great club great music as well well worth going to been fri sat night going to give sun night ago use to go to the zone what a kip stay well must be club of the year ok just give it a go
voodoo is the spot to be, the grill were even forced to restyle, but at the same time i cant wait to c the new grill. but 4 the moment i ave to say that voodoo is the spot to be:)

Some of the reviews i was reading were a bit strong. Went out with my sister and cousin who still live in donegal and had a fab night Love the music not too hard great for dancing to. Wpuld def go back again next time i am home.
