there is an old saying.Goes something like this.... every fool loves his own horse best.... in the light of that let me tell you that ive been working on and off for the pubcrawl for two and a half years.And yes our pubcrawl was the best,and yes we got drunk on regular bases,and i wouldnt trade the times i had on the pubcrawl for any club or pub in this city...and you guys are wromg...pubcrawl is not worth 15 or 20 euro...thats how much you pay to get an open bar for an hour....pubcrawl is worth all those photos we took throughout the night...we had pubcrawls with 15 and with435 people and we had boring and party people and rich and poor black,white,sick,smart,stuppid,educated,ignorant,from every country in this world..and thats a lot of countries... and people know one thing...I AM VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF PUBCRAWL MADNESS IN ROME....by the way that was homers and colosseum pubcrawl i was talking about....peace out...

sure Pub Crawl is ok...I had a friend from school in Rome be a guide for the tour.....I agree with that other guy go to Rock Castle thats a good bar.

I totally agree with Jim.. Pub Crawl in Rome is super.. Ha! It's such a nice way to see the city at night and you don't have to worry about getting lost! You always know you're going to a good bar! And the people who work on it are super nice.. They help you find your way home at the end of the night too! Wow! And that is.. The final word! :)

whether pub crawl is fun i think there's just one on a milions and it is bestofrome.it....... sure to try guy, let's have the party

if you guys are serious let me tell you a place to go and have also a lot of fun in rome where you can get a pint of beer for the price of 4 euros. and it's not a cheap quality

you're so right. Pub Crawl is the best thing you can do in Rome.. why spend 30 euro a night to go to some stupid bar without liking it, when you can go on pub crawl, dance and drink, meet loads of people, and have so much more fun?? :)

Hey, you can go to one bar and pay 4 - 5 euro per drink. but i would rather pay 15 euro and go on a pub crawl and go to 5 different places, each with different music and atmosphere, than staying in one place the whole night. rome is a city that is best seen by walking around. and plus, you don't have to pay cover charges in the pubs where the locals pay from 8 - 10 euro just to get in. i went on the colosseum pub crawl and had a great time. if i go to rome again i would definately do it again. jim, usa.

!!!!ROCK CASTLE ROME!!! !Hey hey! Rome was amazing. On the first night we were a bit lost and this guy stopped us told us a bout the pub crawl. It was a good opportuniy to met people and build up a bit of confidence in the city but thats it really...you dont get much free alcohol for your money..... What i would strongly recommend is a trip to ROCK CASTLE that place is AMAZING it made my holiday. It cost the same price as pub crawl - 15 euros but is sooooooo much better value for money and you are in a much more cool and classy environment. The drinks were wicked and you get unlimited drinks almost all night - thats for like a tenner!! One night we went to the outside area - there was live music(v.g) and it was warm and we were down by river, dancing etc....the next night we were inside but it was a quirky place and there is this ace irish dude who serves in the bar and he is a legend- worth going just to watch him. So yea GO 2 ROCK CASTLE i promise you - oh and if you want somewhere decent 2 stay and buzzing with people go 2 yellow hostel!

Romeing in the Dark is the best walking tour group in the city. If someone disagrees, then obviously they dont have a clue. Owe by the way if someone knows the owner of romeing in the dark, would you ask him to shoot me an email??? Phi Phi JWF

i went on a pub crawl in rome and it was heavy! u get get to meet different people from different countries and me and my friends got along with them as soon as we met them! the bars and clubs were gud! geat djs and great music! cant wait to go back ! 2000 and live

I have taken the pub crawl many times and they have there up and down days....It truly is for toruists though and can be key for them since they dont know where to go in the city .....as for the free shot it is pretty much juice... but the drinks are very affordable in all the places they take you......Either way if your with friends or alone in Rome i suggest you take the pub crawl.. you will meet locals and other backpackers why'll experiencing the pub life of the eternal city.. if you are one who doesnt like being herded like sheep the whole night.... then just go to compo do fiori...i promise you will have fun there....(piazza with just pubs and mini clubs)....if your a local reading this you know better and should be going somewhere else then pub crawls or even campo chasing the easy tourist girls..you know who you are.......

I have gone on a few Pub Crawls in different cities in Europe. I think it's a great way to see a few locations that I would probably never find by myself in a huge city like Rome! I went on Dreamers Pub Crawl and actually had a lot of fun. The guide was a girl and she was really sweet. I met a few interesting people as well. Obviously we would all like to have friends in every city of the world who can take us around and show us the fabulous places that only the locals know. But if you don't have that, I would suggest checking out the website of Dreamers or of other pub crawls in Rome. They can't all be as bad as Pietro's experience! Katie

well, i wonder, why Pietro would you go millions of times on pub crawls if u hate them so much??? And one more thing: there r many pubcrawls in rome and i guess they r not for a cool and handsome guy like u who likes to go out only with models...

Actually I agree with the above review but the Rome(ing) in the Dark is not the same pub crawl. I took two in Rome and Rome(ing) Tours was better by far than the one discribed above. Check out their website www.romeingtours.com and you will see.

I've been on the pub crawl millions of times and even though the pub crawl boasts that you'll recieve free shots at every bar, the shots are usually pure fruit juice. Also, you get free beers and wine with the price of the ticket at the begining of the tour, but the brews and wine are so cheap and warm that you'd hardly want to take advantage of the unlimited and "free" booze anyway. Its only good if its your first night in Rome and you have absolutely no where to go and know no one. the girls that go there are always real ugly fat red necks though....but i suppose ur supposed to be drunk enough by the end of the night not to notice..beware of your self-estime the day after though. Theres way better stuff to do in Rome than pub crawl.
