Get Shipfaced...Really?! by Donna Diglio
I was dragged to this bar and forced to stay due to a dead cell phone and no key to the apartment of my own. My initial instincts to run were validated with the frat-boyesque atmosphere...i felt like I was in douche-land.
small, expensive and full of fat pissed americans, if youre europeen stay away... otherwise, dude, its aaazuuuum!!
Listen I spent four nights in Rome, the first night we were Bar hopping like crazy couldn't find one that fit our needs (we're american so basically all we needed was good beer good music and drunk girls) We found Campo Di Fiore and we knew we'd found what we were looking for. Fun local atmosphere, once you find Druken Ship... stay there and party... and just watch how the Italians party in the street. The Drunken Ship is a Must!
Stopped at The Drunken Ship in May of 2004, I definitely agree that this bar was the sh*t. If you're in Rome, drop on in. Great place to be!
This is without doubt the coolest pub in Rome! The staff are AMAZING - always helpful & happy, the music ROCKS and the specials are good value too. Don't miss it!!! Also I just found their website which is www.drunkenship.com.
