Spent a weekendin Luxembourg in July07 had a great time Urban was a great bar to visit staff are sound. Deffo recommend it for a pint.
great atmosphere n great ppl inside which makes it so much fun bar staff so friendly and the owner is great as well always makes sure your havin a good time...deffinatly a must! go ull have fun
We Found this pub by chance one day and the lunch menu looked fantastic and did not dissapoint when served it was so tasty.We went back 2 nights later as we were told they would be having a dj ,what a party if was great craic and the staff were so friendly.I will be back in lux in 2 months and i will go back to URBAN Bar for sure
Great bar, food (falafal !!), and sound staff. Deffo not so much a backpackers bar, but city trendy bar.
I watched nearly every game of the world cup here, and it was a fantasic atmosphere with a mad mix of nationalities and personalities.
On weekends , it's usually the busiest bar in town.
is there a worse bar in Luxembourg? if there is I havent been in it. The staff are awful the food worse. A wankers paradise.
Basically your average ex-pat bar on the continent. Nothing in particular to recommend it other than the fact that if you want to watch British or Irish sport then they have it. Food is so so with typically awful Luxembourg service (despite the fact that the staff seem to be from ireland and England). tyring to catch the eye of the bar staff isnt easy either. The drinks are run if the mill though un their favour they serve Boff instead of Mosel. All in all more of a bar for somebody living in the city rather than one for the backpacker to put on their must-see list.
Nice, friendly barmen/ girls - in fact very very cute girls. This bar does attract the trendies, movers and groovers. Great music - thankfully not played too loud, so conversations dont mean losing your voice. Get's very busy; but good terrace during Summer months
When we go to lux, Urban bar is always on the top of the places we must visit. drink &food combined with genuine hospitality, sets you up nicely for a good day /evening.there are no strangers in urban only friends who have not met
Went to it during my stay in Luxembourg and id definitly go back. Just an exxellent place to meet new people!!
Quality stylish new wave food all day , swaps into a lounge/party and chatty bar(Tom cruise style barman upstairs) with the hipest gals and guys in town. I think the website is up and running by now if so check it out www.urban.lu
Been in the bar about twenty times in the last year always a great atmosphere superb music and a great mix of clientele all year round.
I couldnt ask for more out of a bar/lounge.
p.s always a good spot to meet new people.
Urban is relaxed bar with a mix of nationalities so its always easy to strike aconversation with someone the bar it self has a very modern feel unlike most of the bars in the surrounding area, the bar staff are very friendly and always willing to come over and have a chat with u making u feel welcome! if u are a sports fan urban has a plasma screen which shows all the major sports events if not there is a quieter more relaxed area upstairs. feeling peckish....urban offers u a wide range of homemade food from there menu, each day the have the plat du jour (menu of the day) which as i tried my self over the week i was in lux changes every day and is really really good. if you are ever in luxembourg be sure to give urban a try i can assure u the people working there and the clients in the bar will always make you feel very welcome.
