Best Bistro, Value by Gunther
I went for the Friday set lunch because of a local blog raving about it.It was incredible value! For RM120 I got 4 fantastic courses including foie gras, a cappucino of shrimp bisque and a wonderful beef wellington and 3 glasses of wine. I brought my friends for the Sunday brunch and it was good. Not the biggest variety in Kuala Lumpur but excellent quality forthe RM65 per person. Their Rose flavoured Oolong tea is is so refreshing. We did however get carried away with their wine list and stayed till 530pm. Great value and good athmosphere
This is the most relaxing bar in KL.Great music, friendly service and unbelievable choice of drinks. It is very conveniently located beside the ShangriLa Hotel close to the KL Tower. Strongly recommend you come here for lunch or dinner if you are visiting the Kl Tower. Food is among the best in KL and for its quality reasonably priced. 3 course set Lunch on weekdays is only RM28.None of the crap of the other bars on the Jln P Ramlee strip.
I only wish we had found this place sooner! We were here in KL for two weeks, and had mostly amazing dining experiences (other than a few service issues)....
but we ate at this place on our LAST NIGHT!.....and it was the absolute cherry on top! We had a burger and beef tenderloin entree....both were delicious....
and as an appetizer (or what they call entrees in this part of the world)...we had a beef carpaccio.
We don't normally go for ALL of the same meat when we go out to eat, but this was the first time we ever did, and it was divine!!! Divine bovine!
The service was top notch for KL....hell, was top notch for DC which is where we're from. The decor and vibe of the place is great. Easily accessible...
a true gem. in the two weeks we were in KL, we found our best dining experience on our LAST NIGHT!
CRUEL FATE!
Do yourself a favor...
go here!!
My husband and I love this place. It is such a cool place to hang out in and its safe. Prices are reasonable and they have the best drinks and food in KL at these prices. The wine list is impressive with 20 champagnes and wines by the glass. We love to come for the Sunday brunch which is great value at RM65 and drinks are at happy hours. Best place to chill out away from the bustle
