It's definitely not the pub for me. It's fine if you like office ladies and hen's nights and guys in shiny denim jeans and accountants who want to experience a "wild" time, and people so drunk they're going to burst blood vessels in their eyes chucking in the toilets after groping everyone in sight and cackling at the top of their voices and/or standing up on chairs and tables to bellow along with the really, really, really bad music.
Cant belive the last review, this bar is TERRIBAL! Horrible people and music make this place a nitemare to try and enjoy a few beers in. Its bascially a meat market and the meat is old and pretentious. Go here if you like snotty middle aged hags ,crap chart music and expensive beer.
The Loaded Hog at the Viaduct Basin in Auckland central brews their own beer and it's the best tap beer you'll find...it's called the Loaded Hog Gold Lager and six pints wont give you a hangover. They also serve pub food here which is also very nice, after about 10pm they take away the tables so it becomes a nightclub. Plenty of nice chics there too. Best to get in early, have a meal and a few beers then hangaround till the music pumps up. That way you avoid the long wait to get in. Here in Melbourne there is no bar that can match it.
