exactly as AJ says, but the girls are all naomi cambell lookalikes...very friendly, very hot, mostly clean, damn good fun and up for anything...at a price. cheers is a great bar to just kick back

One of a few all round bars in PH city centre. Three bars, inside & outside disco, pool table, food & large selection of drinks. Large premises with varied entertainment with onsite doormen. You can drop into Cheers bar any time & any day & it will be a pleasant environment to be socialising. Cheers is known as the Expat community hang out bar in PH. Owned by a Brit & his Nigerian wife with a well established clientele & right balance. The girls in any bar not specific to Cheers are not all gold diggers but survivors, like any place you get a mixed crowd so be firm, pleasant & select wisely.
Cheers is located in the G.R.A. area of Port Harcourt. It is owned by a British guy and the bar looks like a typical U.K. pub. Good food is available (western and nigerian cuisine). The outdoor bar has a dancfloor with live music on Thu, Fri, Sat. On the first floor there is a disco club part which was always empty when I went there. Thursday is ladys night. The girls are almost all gold diggers, so beware.
Beer is about 2 Euro a bottle local beer or small Heiniken.
