the owner liam lakes is a very very lovely man ,i hate to go into the bar and not see his smiling face
we ,me and my husband john ,have been to the new dubliner many times ,i had my 50th birthday there wendy and kev gave me a great nigth,with great music with colum,the food is great and it is a very friendly pub,and they all make you feel very welcome yyou will miss out if you dont go
The New Dubliner is a fantastic little pub at the end of the Strip!! Very friendly, great atmosphere, brilliant singing from the in house singer Colm who really got the crowd going!!! A bit on the small side but there's plenty of space and tables outside!
Would definitely go back again & again!!! Everyone should go at least once, you'd definitely go back again!!
Most expensive beer in the 'hood. Don't even serve any of the excellent Portuguese brews..Imperial, Cristal, Sagres. Why pay 4 Euros when there are more fun bars close by that charge 1 Euro 50 or 1 Euro 60 ? Not impressed.
The New Dubliner is a fantastic pub.Its our 2nd time in albufeira and we had another cracking time at this pub. We made friends with all the staff-Kev,Wendy,Ed, Mag,Karen and not forgetting the fabulous talented singer Colm. We will definately be going back very soon so see you later guys.
Just got back from the New Dubliner, wow what a great day & nite ok it was st Paddy's day. Eddie and maggie and Calum all make u feel soo welcome, this place is a must for all celts and adopted ones as well.
Was in Albufeira in Feb 2006 for a week .Heard great reports about this bar and it lived up to the stories.Very homely and welcoming. Colm really knows how to wow the crowd which included a "stag" from Scotland one night we were there. It was so good we went back a second night which was a little quiter but still great crack. Will be calling again later in the year .

Proper Pub! Proper Music! Proper friendly welcome! Proper Grub! Proper looked after by all the staff.
We made the place our base camp for our stag weekend, and had an amazing time there.
Colm = Legend! A terrific entertainer and all round proper top bloke!
Whatever you do, just make sure you go there, you wont be disapointed, i promise!!!

had brilliant time all the bar staff are sound, had great craic wit colm and daithi. definately the place to be in the algrave as i spent most my time there. and as other people have said in there comments the drink food and music is savage.
The best bar in Albufeira by far. Loved the live music... its just in the right spot and the best food for the money around. If your after a good time and some good sport on the big screen then this is the only place.
You have to go there! Very 'friendly' bar staff and a gorgeous singin guitarist with some great songs, personal favourite was The Tractor Song but The Bog Song is also pretty ace! Would definitely recommend it, I miss the friendly atmosphere now I'm home and hey, who dusnt love the Irish accent?
FANTASTIC Place, we were staying in the Oura Estrela apartments (which this pub is RIGHT below!!) and stopped for a night cap (or 10) every night, Colm (the singer) is brilliant, the staff are friendly, the food is lovely and drinks are reasonably priced with larrrgggeee measures! - only a small place though so get there early for a table :)
Absolutley Fantastic. Ended up spending 7/7 nights there till 2-4 am. Great beer and fantastic music. Colm (singer) is an absolute must to listen to. All the Bar staff are also fantastic no matter what time you go in. Check it out :)
The best pub in town. Eddie and Maggie are very good friends. You are always made very welcome. Great beer, food and music every night. We name it the 'gluepot', once you get in you cant get out. Well worth a visit.
Having visited the pub on several occasions I would defo recommend it! Great beer, great hospitallity and a great singer, infact just a great night out. s of english and irish people that live in area go there which is nice coz you get to find out all the best places to go, so when you are in Albufeira do pop in
the latest hot spot in albuferia, a definate for all holiday goers looking for a fun and exciting night out, with the staff enjoyin their work and enjoying the company of everyone that comes through the doors. live music and live craic
