Such a welcoming bar to go into the craic, music and overall hospitalitaly has to be seen to be believed. And for the sports minded, all sports catered for on the big screen especially gaa and soccer, and the bartenders expery knowelege of all sports is fantastic
This is a gem of a pub. Everyone needs to visit. Veronica and Michael are fantastic hosts and the music is brilliant.
We found this place on the first night and went back five times!
A genuine Irish bar owned by a real Irishman Michael, from Bunclody, and his wife Veronica situated near Hotel California between the square and beach. Very friendly atmosphere and Michael likes nothing better than to sing a few or more bars with his guitar which he always has at the ready - make sure and ask him to do so. If required he can also show his skills, albeit from yesteryear, with the caman.
went into this bar last year after being in the strip on the first nite micheal and verionca are absolute gems well worth a visit made to feel like we were just down the road in the local will be visiting again
Micheal is class! he is a brilliant guitar player and singer!! im only 12 and the thing is he always hands me his guitar and we have a good oul irish singsong, the intertainment is something everyone sould enjoy micheal and veronica are 2 lovly people and its a credit till them if youre in the area get into micheal hes the man!
You have to visit Flannery's Irish Bar. It is the most friendliest bars in the whole of Albufeira. Micheal & Veronica (the owners) make you feel so at home. Great for relaxing with a pint bottle of Bulmers or a pint of Guinness. You can even have a good oul sing song with Micheal on the Guitar!!
Definitely worth a visit when in the old town. the staff are great, and the locals make u feel like your at home. the bar is really good as well, nice and cool, just wot u need on a hot day in Alberfira. its a MUST DO on your list of things to do in the old town, you wont be dissappointed

This pub ought to be the best pub in the whole of albufeira! The staff is kind and they really care for you and really take you srious, they dont just want to sell you a drink their there to have a laugh and just have an absolute great time! YOu really have to visit this pub!

The only Irish bar in the Old Town and the best bar in the Old Town. On the second floor of the Centro Comercial California, near Street of Bars. Terrific welcome from the owner, Michael Flannery ( the man himself ) and his daughter. Really knows how to make you feel at home ! Air conditioning, 2 pool tables, dartboard, Sky Sports, great music and great beer. What more could one ask for. Spent every night in Flannery's, and some days too, for the week I stopped in Albufeira.
