The Lord Nelson Bar has been taken over again by Claudia & Zaka, they are brilliant people and the food is great, they make everyone feel welcome, and they are always happy to cook no matter what time of day. I have been going to the same place for 13 years, and these are the best people ever.
This bar is a nice bar, with a pool table, The people that own the bar are friends of my dads and they are extremely friendly with everyone and the people that work there are really friendly too, nice bar to go and see
A recently taken over bar, The host Monica has introduced karaoke and Fado nights (traditional Portuguese music) There is good bar food and the atmosphere is very friendly. She has provided an area as a childrens play area, she concentrates on everybody having fun and enjoying themselves. Its a good place to, meet, chat, eat and take the kids. She gave the best new years party i have had. Lots of British are now going there as well as the local people, which is usually the sign of a good establishment.
