brilliant staff crack & entertainment,f**k the bedgrudgers,Mandy is awesome as are all the staff.Defenitely will be back again.Good luck keep up the good work.
thank you for your review, it was enlightning .however we do remember you and your friends and despite the fact that you are trying to get a tit for tat reply . sorry we don´t do that. i can only refer to a previous such posting and say that if you wish to be treated with respect you must also act with same . you were abusive and disrespectful and expected to be treated as if you were the only people in the bar when other customers deserve to be served also,,,clicking fingers and Oi you ..and bad behaving for some reason you think puts you in a different level to other people.sorry it does not. so read the other reviews and suffer on in your disillusion that you are special.all customers who come to dalys are treated with respect as long as they are respectful in return..so la la la is your signed name and probably your I Q also...thank you
Arrived to Portugal aug 16th went to Daly's bar most nights before i made my way to a club staff at Daly's were really friendly was nice to go into a irish bar actualy owned by a irish family. Thankyou for the food & drinks see you's next year!

back nearly a week now.dalys is the place to be all staff are lovely especially danni the only man u supporter i met.i was there with girlfriend daughter and yhe inlaws.oh ya we beet the bookie.see ye soon.nigel from limerick
arrived home yesterday 12 August after a week.Keiran, your bar is fastastic we had a ball every night your singing and homour was first class, as was the acts (Drag show,Michael Jackson etc). Please pass on our thanks to Mandy behind the bar.

Went to dalys bar with mr fella, have to say we had a ball in dalys. The drag show was the best you must go to see that! Also the live entertainment was great every other night! Staff and owners where lovely to us anytime we where there.

thank you for this report.i would like to reply by saying that we do not listen to complaints from people who can`t sign their name as they are always from other bars in the area or people who have been ejected from the bar for bad behavour.read the rest of the reviews to see our history,,we will listen to anybody with a real complaint,so contact me on kieranddaly2002@yahoo.com if you wish but i would not bet on that one happening,,and by the way i am never rude to my staff,as i am very proud of my staff,i do give out to them from time to time but that is to make sure this bar runs on a 1st class basis and remains the No1 bar in town..as the reviews will tell you..

read your post on the site and would like to comment on your posting...firstly i never am rude to my staff as they will tell you and thats 1 reason why they all like working here..our staff are our proudest asset in the bar and i am very proud of them...as are tommy and lynda..i really think that you are someone with a gripe that maybe you were ejected from the bar for bad behavour or similar,but if not you can contact me directly tru facebook...dalysbar as i would like to know who you are or if not i am probably correct in saying you were a problem and are trying to get back at me or the bar for our high standards of customer we allow in ...of which you are not,,,,kieran daly

Went to Dalys a couple of nights during my holiday in Praia da Rocha, found the owner Kieran very rude to staff and customers on the 2 nights we went to the bar!!
would recommend Irelands Eye as an alternative, the staff were lovely and the singer is excellent.
We are just back from praia da rocha and i have to say it was a terrific two weeks especially going to DALYS BAR.Kerian and Tommy run the bar and you get live entertainment every night. Kerian has a certain cheeky way about him but is a really nice guy his brother Tommy is also a grand lad and all the staff were great to us Would recomend going to dalys you will not be dissappointed. My girlfriend & myself are just back yesterday (23-6-09)& we were amazed at the entertainment what Daly's put on for there customers.
We were in Daly's every night apart from two (which i cant remember lol. I would highly recommend to go there for a drink if you enoy live singers from all over ireland. P.S YOU MUST SEE

entertainment is brilliant!! d staff our soo nice kieran is mad great fun n tommy is just lovely hes gas 2. i would reccomend dalys 2 anybody tats going 2 praia da rocha breakfast rolls our d best ull get n entertainment again..just brill. be bk in sept... tommy have my straws ready n tomatoe just incase haha xxmaireadxx
35 glofers from the transport club in dublin had a ball in dalys praia da rocha kieran,alan.tommy and all the staff where so nice and great fun they teated some of us to coctails enough said;hope your reading this kierain EPIDURAL;ha ha! See you all next year . From all the transportors

had a very enjoyable wek in oraia da rocha. really enjoyed dalys pub, stall very nice. derek great singer.only thing that disappoints me in all your reviews is that every seems to have forgotten to mention pat doyle, a brilliant singer and guitar player,could listen to him forever.will be back next year.
hi my name is sabrina i used to work for dalys we had our differences ova different staff but linda and the team are really freindly and there son carl can be annoying but hes ok once u get to know him but try it it is a great bar and i would recommend it as i would recommend farmers and irelands eye too all live music great for a good sing song thank you

hey was in portual last wk n dalys was da only best pub dare!!4 a start it was da only fully irish owned pub in praia da rocha n da most liveliest!!da shows were da best ever like da drag shows n elvis n everytin n pat n derek were very gd entertainers n kieron was just da best laugh ever!! so wen in praia da rocha make sure ya visit it its da best ever!!!!p.s dares nothin rong wit da food its da only place i ate over dare n dare was nothin rong wit it!!!! miss ya dalys :(:( lorraine xxxxx
the bar is great craic, the staff are gas and so friendly. Derek Nangle is a great singer, best in Portugal in my opinion, definitley go and see him play....
hi all just got back from praia da rocha and i have to say dalys is a great spot,the staff are great crack,the entertainment was fantastic,the food was great and most important the kids had a great time there,the staff were great with the kids,so if you are going to praia da rocha visit dalys pub
its been a while but when i was workin over there me an my girlfriend got stranded with no money an no were to sleep an keiran gave me a job just to get me home an put us up so cheers for that if ya dont remember me its tomo an amo here an have to say the food is the best in portugal wouldnt eat any were else 3 cheers for dalys bar

This bar re opened on June 18th 2008 after a refurbishment...and this was our first night in it, even though it was our second time in prai da rocha...(we never went in it 8 year s ago...mayb it was not up and running then...) however, after our first night in there we went back EVERY night....they have live music...Derek Nangle from Dublin....FANTASTIC....so funny....and a brilliant singer...Mustang Sally......classic.....Karaoke with Kieran...who is the friendliest Irish Guy ever....(and owner....) and the breakfast is gorgeous.....we really miss all the staff who made our holiday memorable....Linda....(brilliant landlady)....tommy....(good banjo player...and owner 2....) mandy....(and helen....) duncan...(who has a fetish for straws....) and last but not least.....Liz...The best Dancer on the Algarve.......x x
over in dalys last september 07, the bar is the most friendliest one in praia da rocha, the only thing is dj bizzo is only there in september , he is a total fruitcase who would liven up the dead.. hope to see him this september.. staff mad and crazy like him also great craic.. great karaoke and shows ..for a place like home u have to visit this bar beside club da rocha...anyone who had bad reviews on this pub shove them up your ass¡¡¡¡ yous must be boring boring boring

Well ive read some of the bad reviews(2 of them) ab have to say as far as the food goes we went there every morning for our breakfast and it was really really nice and very cheap now i haven been there since 06 but when i was there it was great the staff and people around me where all very nice,my mate got up when the hypnotist was doing a show in the bar and he got hypnotized he will never live it down any way the bar is brill go in once and see for ur self bet you go again!!p.s keep in mind alot of the compition will give other bars bad reviews.

Having read all the reviews,i would like to say to miss woods and mr carson that if they had any complaints they should have brought them to my attention, it is very easy to say these things afterwards,i would also like to add that in 3 years there have been many customers through the bar and so far our feedback rate has been over 95%.This i take with pride, and any of the complaints that were made to us were dealt with in a very friendly and professional manner,Having said this there are always customers (Especially in this business) who just cannot be pleased or have a gripe over something,we must take this on the chin and smile,In regards to my staff,I have been more than happy with my staff and the way they deal with their duties,and have since opening this bar have been regarded as the best staff in any irish bar in portugal,
I am always ready to listen to any problems customers may have or have had in the past,so please do not hesitate to contact me,

We were in Dalys for dinner and we ended up in Hospital with food poisoning. The scum of the earth both behind and in front of the bar. The owners son ran around annoying everybody and the owner pranced around like he was the general ( more like a private (dick) 3 days later it had been closed down by the health people . Our rep told us we were only some of many .. So at your own risk be it. Bring back poguemahones. Signs up but not open . What a bar that was. Destroyed my holiday this time when I saw it was closed
i have to say brill cuz there family linda and kiiron are my aunyie and unel karl is me lill cuz and james and all are just mad int the head !!! the pub is brill the food and all best ever love u all xxxxxxxxxx
dalys is the best most friendliest bar in praia de rocha the staff are so friendly and helpful the food was so much like home and we didnt find as nice a bar in the whole of praia de rocha thanks to kiearn james and everyone at dalys for making our visit to praia de rocha a memorable one lots olove linsday (laurane)
Dailys irisrh bar is the must bar when u visit portugal, i have ben for 2 years on the bonce wid the lad and kno all the staff tommy and them all, its the besy experience going and we will see them next year and tommy we hope to see you down in liverpool so u can keep kingy , kirkham and all da lads safe down here , good luck cy ya soon be in touch
my dad used to sing in this bar and kieran and his staff are very friendly people to talk to i think people should give this place the benefit of the doubt

just back from portagul had seen about dalys bar here so gave it a call what a dump when we arrived we sat out on the terrice but had to move inside as there were about 10 kids aged about 14years old running and jumping all over the place one was spitting on tables that people were siting at there were drunk and high on hash that they most likley got of the guy selling it just round the corner, the adults with them were buying them bottles of cider, we moved inside and order some food i had chicken and my wife had curry it was horrable when i complained to the non english speaking waitress she just said to bad we come from dublin and we will not be back in daly bar in [praiada rocha] ps my wife is a daly from dublin
now dis has 2 be da best irish bar in da world, its irish owned by kieran,lynda and tommy daly who hail from dublin. great shows every nite, very cheap drink fab food, and most of all da staff r da best around... im telling ya, u enter dis pub and u wont leave(not until james kicks u out) :)
