This is a bar which has the feel of an opium den. Red lanterns and red lights in the bar makes it the bedroom where no one seems to be sleeping! It is full of weird people and the occasional bar-top dancer emerges from among the crowd. After the bar closes in the morning at 9am, breakfast is a possibility at the Kiliney Kopitiam round the corner.
A cool place for those who can't sleep at night or for those who is catching a 8 or 9am flight who is afraid of over sleeping so have fun at the bar till morning.....
What a shock when I asked the taxi driver where can I go to at this time for a beer and he drops me off in front of Bedroom Bar. Yes it was 4am on a Wednesday but my eyes weren't playing tricks me when I walked in to the crowded bar and saw a Vancouver Canucks jersey hanging behind the bar! Found out the owner is from Victoria! Cool place, great music and staff but leaving the bar at 7am+ without sunglasses is deadly. Go to their website www.thebedroombar.com for more info and pics. Hello all, behind Boat Quay waterfront on Circular Road is a bar called Bedroom. It is owned by a guy from Victoria, BC, Canada and is open till 6am every night! The music is great and for you Canadians he shows hockey and has Canadian beer. Check out their website www.thebedroombar.com
