My friends and I had a week off work while our office building was being refurbished, so we decided to go to Barcelona for a piss up since we´d heard good things. After finding the ´Barcelona Vibes´ website and booking what was labelled as The biggest bar crawl in Europe, we couldnt wait to arrive, get settled, and then go get smashed! The first bar we went to (Travel Bar) was absolutely crazy! The best atmosphere in a bar I´ve ever encountered. People were singing (bar staff included), laughing, drinking and generally having a good time. We´d arrived late for the bar crawl so it was quite a mission getting to the bar for our first drinks, but the entertainment in the meanwhile more than made up for the waiting. After a couple of solid rounds of drinking, An american girl in a cowboy hat, one of our guides, stood up on the bar with a Super-Soaker (Coyote Ugly style) and proceded to shout about moving to the next bar - shooting a few people in the mouth with what I assume must have been Vodka before she dismounted. We went back again for some food and more drinks the following days. If I had to compliment the Travel Bar on one thing it would be it´s staff, without the presence of the quirky international people working there, the bar would be just another run-of-the-mill, good value, backstreet bar. Dont forget to tip!

worth a visit - relaxed and good price. good advice on the city and friendly. Not top of the range - just basic but then thats what it claims to be - that and friendly as i said it was!!!!!!!!!!

For me, meeting loads of new people is great fun. The travel bar is an extremely friendly bar with a variety of new people either on holidays or have enjoyed their time so much they have moved across. I loved it, the people are wkd and the travel bar was perfect for me and the people i met there made the holiday all the more worthwhile. My only problem is I met the most incredible guy and due to drunkness... forgot his myspace addy! so if ur there scott, south london! get in contact!

Beer was cheap the food was good the place is crazy! Try the pub crawl out it was awesome, like 200 people all going wild and partying, two of my friends were covered in whipped cream, hilarious night. Thank you Travel Bar!

The Travel Bar has the best atmosphere in a bar I´ve seen so far anywhere else in the world. Great value, friendly staff, lots of activities to join in on, eg; Bar Crawl, Spanish cooking class, Pub quizzes and more. Good value also, they sell €1 meals for customers every night at 20:00, which is good news for us backpackers who are travelling on a shoestring budget, more money for booze.

Travel Bar; you either LOVE IT or HATE IT! The reason being that its either exactly what you´re looking for or it´s exactly what you´re trying to avoid. You´ll be thrown into a melting pot of people from other cultures and places around the world, the majority being either backpackers who ended up staying there and becoming part of the staff, or large groups of friends who keep coming back for the cheap one euro meals and the various activites the bar has to offer - such as Barcelona´s legendary Smashed! bar crawl. Most of the customers speak english. The first time I came in and sat down I was greeted by a member of the staff, who told me all about what the bar had to offer, and was genuinely interested in where I´d been along the way. That night I made my first few aquaintances in Barcelona, tried out the pub crawl and got absolutely hammered with my new friends. One week later I was sat in a 4x4 heading down to Morocco on a road trip with more new friends, I had the time of my life. Travel Bar is exactly what it says it is on the flyer - The Traveller´s Meeting Point. If you´re just arriving in Barcelona and you dont know what to do, head on down to the bar and you´ll find something on offer I´m sure.

foods alright but i went there with a big crowd and the staff kept telling us to shut up!! whats the point in going to a bar to get drunk of you cant even have a laugh?!?! all we were doing was going WHEYYYYY every now and then and CHEERS TO BARCELONA!! just a bit of fun.... so we ended up leaving and i dont think the staff liked us very much

Travel bar "travelers meeting point" ha what crap ! you'll find nothing more than a below average tourist bar.Full of drunk larger louts and cockroaches.Drinks are far too exspensive for any TRAVELER.Avoid this bar at all costs.

Hehehehehe! It was a pub crawl...forgotten for all the right reasons..It does exactly what it says on the leaflet...Try it! You get SMASHED ...Not for babies scared of cockroaches!!!!!!

Wicked bar! Friendly english speaking staff, sky tv, awesome pub crawls and other activities, and a brilliant spot to meet other backpackers.
