Mhh I just got one qestion for you guys. Especially Rita above, what is your ethnic background. I mean are you white or something, because by reading on your comments it seems like your are just looking for hot spots in Dar involving western music and people.Mhh what about the the places where you mix with the locals and enjoy some nice African music?

This is the place for you if you like crap. The atmosphere is electric but i believe that is probably something to do with cutting corners with the wiring. The experience starts before you even walk through the door, the street is full of people, some there to have a good time some to have your belongings. As you walk in you will imediately notice the dingy and worn out decor, unfriendly staff and a number of people who may be official you can never be quite sure. I say dingy and worn out you may say this is Africa but when you buy a drink you will wonder where all that extra money your paying is going (basically some drinks are very expensive). I've lived in Tanzania for a considerable time now and there are some awsome clubs and bars such as Garden Bistro and Q-Bar which deserve the space being used to praise this way below par venue. It seems to me they have opened, got their market, and stopped trying. Don't get me wrong, go try it if you want but I just don't want you to expect too much, it won't deliver.

I hear ya Rita! Much More... wow how to explain it! Well let me start by telling you that in the last year I have been to night clubs in Vancouver, Copenhagen, Auckland, and Seattle... and Much More still leaves the biggest impression on me. It is an international club if ever I saw one! It's also very friendly, and you will always manage to meet people, which is why you go clubbing right? If you can over-look the dingy carpets and the fact that they never seem to have toilet paper, you'll be sweet! It's a fun and friendly club... playing a wide range of music. Awesome, I highly recommend it! And as far as clubs go in Dar, you don't really have many other options!

I dont know what you're trying to imply but Much More has to be one of the hottest clubs in Dar right now. It plays a lot of Bongo Flava ( GREAT tanzanian music) which makes the atmosphere hit the roof.. And i agree, it also plays a lot of Western music such as Jay Z, Nelly, R Kelly or Beyonce. But what's wrong with that?? It also plays Arabic, Oriental, and Techno, but rest assured, they only play the BEST, NEWEST, and HOTTEST of those categories. For real, Much More is the scene to be, great people etc. there are just so many races there, unlike other bars in which you will only see 99% africans. You will love the diversity, the great music, drinks, people, and i'm sorry but if you've got some racial tendencies and don't like seeing Indians, White people, Black people, or Chinese people, then i'm sorry this is not the club for you. In fact.. this is not the PLANET for you... Much More ROCKSSS and I can't wait to cum back home to tz next summer so I can hit that spot like every day!!!

Much more is a western style club in downtown bar - one of only two places here you will ever be in a room full of more white faces than dark. (The other is Subway). It plays all western music, no african, and is basically only worthwhile if you're seriou
