I have been visiting Pattaya with my wife and family regularly for the past 8 years. We always spend some time at Steve and Khian's Pussy Galore Bar and have never experienced any type of rip-off on bar charges. Your drink 'check' is placed in the bin on your table after each order and you can look at it at any time. When you are leaving you can calculate your total and that is what you pay. If there is a discrepancy you can point that out. Most of the problems with the Thai bar way of 'invoicing' are due to too much alcohol and the subsequent inability to remember basic arithmetic.
As for the defamatory comments about the owners: Steve and Khian have built a successful business over the years by supplying a product that they believe is relevant to their customers needs and have been innovative in varying this. They have a superb pool table and the ability to screen multiple sports telecasts simultaneously. The bar prices are consistent with their Air-conditioned bar ... as distinct from an Open bar, a Street bar, a Go-go bar or a Show bar.
As with any bar anywhere in the world ... attendance is not compulsory. If you are not happy ... go elsewhere.

Got to agree with the other reviews....Owner and wife just trying to cheat you by topping up bills. Pushing you to buy drinks. Dont trust them!!.
Air con and good pool table but lousy attitude.

flew to pattaya to meet my nephew who lives there. went to pussy galore and was greeted by a girl called pen and the air con. dont know which was more inviting but then i couldnt take the aircon home. steve (the owner) seemed a little offish but i guess after a constant stream of britts bowling in it must get tiresome. after a couple of visits the welcome got better. girls i found to be a little lazy but a few were ok. tvs showed constant sport which was good, almost every screen showed something diffrent. pool table also good. all in all had good times in there. beer a bit expensive but hey, the place had aircon.
Your bill is never correct they always load it. Was better with the previous management. There are plenty of better bars with better management and honest with it
The Owner Steve is a Crook, His Wife Kianne is a bigger one. Always check your bin, pay as you drink. So many reports bins being ?loaded from the Ex Pats around town & tourists alike. He had a great partener (Popeye) But between Steve & Kianne they screwed him out of the business. Popeye & Ewan (Ex Spicy Girls) set him up in Thailand & Pussy Galore & that was the thanks they gave. I would reommend giving the place a very wide berth!!!

Other than the continuous friction between the owners and the arrogance of his wife this is a great bar with a very mixed crew of friendly girls,old and young.Take the time to get to know them by playing pool with them on the best kept table in the South of Thailand( So good that Jimmy White often calls in )Gets busy after midnight,.Good food when they have parties which is quite often.A lot of expats use this bar who are not there for the girls too.In general a good all round bar anytime of the day...ENJOY>...
