I built this bar and named it in 1989 with my partner miley hawkins I have no idea where she is now but often wondered if it was still there it used to be a guest house we knocked the downstairs out but kept the upper rooms going we shared a room on the top floor by the wash area. we furnished the bar area mainly in wood
The bar was situated down a little alley next to the Hello bar right at the end on the left the bar was shopfront size and i believe the paradise guesthouse opened next door.
If anyone would like an account of how khao sarn road was nearly 20 years ago drop me a line
I would love to see some pictures of how it looks now

Hole in the Wall became my favourite place to party and hang-out whilst in Bangkok. Tucked away at the end of a dark alley off Khao San Road, this placed is chilled out and has a bit of everything - pool table, lounges, dancefloor, and DJs bringing you crazy jungle and drum'n'bass. Not to mention the half Sang Som and half Cokes for 80b!

in the middle of the backpackers' hangout is a haven for the hard-up traveller, with dim lighting, CD's from home, and beer at a price sympathetic to clients.
