I have been to Phuket several times and found the two black sheep years ago under the preavious owners,it was great then to be able to sit watch the world goby without the hassels,I am glad to see the tradition has continued under the new owners (glen@clara).And i wish you all the best keep up the good work,wish i was still there.

My girl and I spent 18 days in Thailand recently and no doubt some of the best nights were spent at the Two Black Sheep. The pub is owned and ran by two great Aussies - John & Debra. Both make you feel welcome the moment you walk into the place. Along with their friendly staff, you are ensured of having a great night. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. During the evening you will be entertained by John and his guitar who will be followed by a great Thai band - Chill Jam who will help you rock the night away. If you are looking for a great night out then look no further as the Two Black Sheep is the place to be. Cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. Will be planning another trip in 2010 and the Two Black Sheep will definitely be a part of the itinerary. Keep up the good work folks and will see you in a couple of years if not earlier.

Where do I start? I returned yet again (3rd) to Phuket and this time with friends. We discovered the 2 Black Sheep, and wow, what a great place. From the girls looking after us, complete with laughter, smiles and brilliant humour, I have to say, only go there if you are alive. Having said that, no matter what mood you arrive in, you will have many laughs, funny experiences, and genuine Thai friendliness. Oh, an you might get to sing if you really want to....seems I did!!! Natalie and the Chilli Jam band are excellent (especially when I sing with them - just joking!!) and really make a great night. Meals were excellent, we ate there most nights of our two week stay. What can I say kids? Im home, I miss you all......especially you Dik with that gorgeous Thai smile!! And yes girls, its true, I AM gay...see you next year!

John and Debra and all the great staff at the 2 Black Sheep in Patong have made an art out of making a person feel welcome. In a busy place like Patong to be able to find a friendly relaxed bar and restaurant without the usual hassle of touts, hawkers and bar girls is worth gold! From the outstanding (and generous) meals and snacks, through to the extensive selection at the bar (the cocktail list is well worth the visit alone); the food and beverage side is well taken care of. Add in the excellent entertainment every night of the week (including your host John - an accomplished and talented musician as well as a fine host) and the relaxed good time atmosphere; most discerning visitors will not bother to look elsewhere for another bar. The 2 Black Sheep has it all! I cannot reccomend it highly enough.

what agreat place to have as your local in Patong, everynite live music with 5 piece band CHILLI JAM at 10pm but before that at 8pm John 1 of the owners plays from 8 till 10 and he is a really great muso..the food is great with a mixture of OZ and Thai food ..you can see how clean the kitchen is as it is all open and the toilets are the same ..John and Debra also have lots of great advice and local knowledge just ask them and they are more than happy to help..do yourself a favour and go to two Black Sheep

very very nice aussie pies and great thai food. Very friendly english speaking thai staff . I go many times if I go there its very good and have live music every night. and so funny playing with zolo showtime.

Had a great time there. Daytime great people watching place nightime great atmosphere and band. Great staff, friendly no hassel and top quality food at reasonable prices. spend an hour at the two black sheep and you will spend a week there !!

Go Nanai road i Patong,Phuket. A very nice breakfast and coffie shop is there,run by thai family. They are so nice,helpfull,very god food and clean toilets. Always people there-best service Dauthers breakfast and Coffieshop

This is an absolutely awesome venue. Best pub/bar in Phuket without doubt!! The Aussie owners John & Debra and manager Rob were the most amazing hosts and helped make our recent holiday to Phuket an absolute gem. The bar staff were all fantastic people and really helpful and friendly. The live music was great - the Thai band showed off their musical prowess and female singer (Natli?) was brilliant. There is a great atmosphere in this bar which strikes the right balance between Western tourists and local Thais. Do yourself a favour and make sure you visit Two Black Sheep when you visit Phuket.

The place is run really well by two great aussie owners, I should know Im their neice. Its a wounderful pub, the people are great , it has a fiendly atmosphere and has AWSOME staff. My regrets to not being there right now, but TOO much work lol xoxo

Bloody great, no hasseling working girls, great aussie hosts, the best live band in town every night and the service was terrific with all the thai staff really friendly and enjoying being at work and are more than willing to please. The aussie owners are always there running the place like clockwork. The drinks are cheap the live music is free and It was nice to be understood and get good advice on anything from the owners. I highly recommend you go there. I first heard about it in the lonely planet. Great aussie food, clean kitchen and most importantly clean toilets, all our girlfriends were stoked. It was right next door to the best and cheapest seafood restaurants though we mostly ate at the bar( very cheap) and we had no bad side effects. Do yourself a favor and drop in on your first night as we all did. AWESOME *****
