Well the reviews are very gushing on this restaurant. Turkey has changed a lot ...since our last visit. The staff at Demeters are very friendly and the food is good at what it aims at. The restaurants on the sea shore are better quality in terms of food but not in terms of service. The three guys running Demeters had all the time in the world for the patrons. However i was generally disappointed with the football shirt wearing , union be-jacked resort that is Bodrum. Bodrum could be so much more than it is ...... The biggest rip-off was bodrum airport with a coffee and a small cup of Sprite at £8 !!!! ( £4 each) Too greedy ...... But would recommend Demeters.

My two friends and I have been going to curry’s bar for the last four years, and we find the food is excellent, never had a bad meal yet, the staff is most helpful, and very pleasant people that is very easy to get on with, also they will go out of their way to please you, I told curly I did not like my meals on the brown sizzler plates so every time I had a meal they always bought it on a white plate, and never had to remind him again!!! Even when they had a family meal it was never too much trouble to find time to talk to us.TRIXIE

we ate at this bar nearly every day of our 2 week honeymoon,first class food and the staff are the friendliest most helpful people going.were going back next may 08 and will probably eat there all the time

Went last year to Bodrum, booked the Delfi hotel on line as we had stayed in Istanbul first. We were right beside the Demeter and I have to say we ate there quite a lot if not for lunch for evening meal. I like to try other restaurants but this is one of the most reasonable and fantastic quality. The staff are really nice, Chris and Ahmed (curly). It's family run which makes for a good restaurant. Liked the fact that when one was eating they did not come and sit or disturb you with talk, they waited till one was finished. We are going back in sept. and are staying round the corner. I'm a frequent traveller to Turkey, and Bodrum and Istanbul are my favourite. I backpacked through Turkey with my boyfriend in 1989, alot has changed. Especially the women seem to have a lot more freedon. Tend to travel by plane internally and short hops on coaches to cities and towns. Would recommend this restaurant and I have being in quite a few in Turkey. it is one of the best

Going to Demeters for 3 years now, 10 of us last year, 9 earlier this year, ate or drank there every day, never one complaint about food or service. Always first class. Staff couldn't be nicer, can't do enough to help you in every way. 5 of us going back in September. We think of them as family now and keep in regular contact. When we were buying an apartment in Bodrum we made sure it was withing walking distance of Demeters ! Need I say more !

In all spent a total of 8 weeks in Bodrum eating out twice a day. In all we had one poor meal and that was at Demeters. Staff too interested in watching football and talking to regulars. Fish over cooked. Service not at all good.

This is a brilliant restaurant. the food is excellent and the staff provide an atmosphere that cant be beaten!!

This is the most gorgeous restaurant in Bodrum. The food is mouth watering and the staff and the atmosphere just make your evening wonderful. Thanks Demeter for making my holiday in Tukey so memorable. I will be back thats for sure!
