got some real memories of Al's. (2003-06)There was some dude called Saddam!! the bouncers were crazy but the music and the crowd was wow!! could go all over kla and still end up in Al's. It was HOT!!! but by day....Als looked real dead!
if you want to party till you drop dead in the company of a drop dead gorgeous guy, alsbar is the place and duli is the guy.i, mean this guy parties non stip,doesnt sleep,does everything from dj,waiter,security,manager,name it plus all the girls die for him and he acts like he cant notice.a compulsory bar for any one visting uganda.
Went To Als on Satreday 16 aug 2008 at 11 O clock at night and guess what,The place was dead, They were more empty chairs then people even at the happening time,To Dance go to Club Anze and silk(Industry area) there are near to each other or Club Night Riders (Kampala Road) if you enjoy ragga/ragge,There are many cool sports bar at Kololo (Kecmenty) area,Balling Club and bar AT the Garden city mall(Safe place),Casino simba also at the Garden city mall,Garden city also has a bar right on top next to an indian restorant and has nice view,There are many isolatd and falily places on Muyeanga hill hotel international is thee also good for under cover dating also.i hope that helps. als bar was a good place o go when it was owned by Raj rain night snow night was a great place to go. dont go now own buy a old man who thinks he own uganda
its one of my best experience when i come from kenya to uganda at kiu i was a very shy dude but with Als being nest to me am now exposed to cool stuff and i know how 2 get chicks and deal with them thanks Als.

Red chillily is a nice quite place especially in the evenings.The weather and abov all the tourist chich who fucks as sson as they druck.I remembe one day i met kelly and her friends,was just dropping ma friend then met them.To my dimay i fucked both of them behind my pick up.I love red chilli and will always visit the place
BUbbles in kampala,Kololo side is a bar that you must try if your in kampala,nice Music,nice women most especially the Expat crowd,only that,their is some bit of racism,if you know what am talking about....you know the white and Black divide...if tour black you need to be strong witha very strong esteem to be their..otherwise nice bar,nice decor..
Loads of hassle from local female hookers...beware of the "Kampala Handshake"... girls grabbing your crotch as you go in the door..this place was really good on my last visit to Kampala in 2005, now it seems to have rapidly gone downhill...sleazy, crap music and constant hassle from "night fighters" when you only want to relax after a hard day at the office ! ( And I have been in Africa for 12 years folks !! ) Still retains some of the decor that made it a once popular expat hangout.really only for the tourist crowd looking for cheap thrills and one night stands !! Sadly Al, not the place I would choose to unwind on a Saturday night !
yeah, good place....worked there for about 2 months in 2000, don know if alan owns it to day....to me its a must go whenever i go to Uganda...last visited in jan 2005.....i think its indianised....cool place
I used to be a regular at Al's Bar 8 years ago and it was brilliant then, and if Al still owns it I am sure it is still the best ExPat bar in Kampala.

Al's rocks! anyone for dancing on the bar to wicked music, playing pool with prostitutes, partying under the african sky, this is the place for you!! they even do breakfast!!
Yes, it is a must when you're there hanging around with some friends, especially if you are single. Great time, great music with this DJ from LA. Great time. I'll recommend it. I'll be back soon or later. lol
it is an ok bar but full of call girls who harass the ladies especially when with guy friends or even brothers coz they believe u are killing their business.gd for the white folks who just love having fun but have to be strong willed and resistant otherwise they suck u dry.
Good Country Music. People are quite friendly.
You could sit in or out and enjoy yourself.
No need for company. You will never be alone!
