Dreadful service by dreadful staff and a dreadful location. The IV may have been a great place once but Dubai has moved on and left Garhouds favourite son behind. Unable, unwillingly or too vain to change this once Colossus of watering holes in Dubai is now a parody of itself. Visiting the place now you are likely to meet people who are sullen, unfriendly and who want to fight (and that is just the staff!). Take heed and give this old lady a wide berth.

Enjoyed our visits to I. Village, fab. I was also at the Karama Market where I purchased some 'Camel Trophy' Shirts. Unfortunatel I do not know the name of this shop, I was wondering if you or your staff knew the name as I wish to purchase some more shirts. This shop sold handbags, ladies clothes and gents. Thank you NOreen & Brendan Doyle

Great atmosphere and location. Best Irish Stew I've ever had. Excellent choice, both indoors and out. The beer selection was commendable, and the servers I met, Catrina and Ed were great fun. Still communicate with them. In my opinion, one of the best Irish Pubs in the world.

A lovely laid-back vibe, friendly Irish staff and Drew the musician is just amazing. I'll be spending a few nights there on my next trip, for sure.

The Irish Villiage in Dubai is a rarity in the dry climate of the Middle East. Tucked into the side of the Dubai Tennis Arena, it is a lush paradise, complete with resident felines prowling the grounds. The staff are all from Ireland, which adds to the Irish flair. Live music most nights, with bands like Blondie and Collective Soul playing their stage. The fountains, trees, outdoor picnic style seating and cobblestones create an atmosphere of relaxation in an otherwise bustling city. Drinks are always flowing, and Irish Car Bombs are clearly the favorite. The best Irish stew I've ever eaten was here, and the rest of the menu is equally impressive. The bartenders and wait staff are quick with drinks and even quicker with a smile. You could be rubbing elbows with a British citizen, a Japaneese tourist, or a local taxi driver. Conversation is never lacking, and there's always smiles on peoples faces. I recommend this pub to anyone who happens by Dubai, the Jewel of the Middle East.

Its a great place to go! I love to watch the sports, drink lots and feel relaxed! On my last trip to Dubai we went everynight. A group of 4; 2 from England (1 from Indian Muslim background), 1 Norwegian and of course me a Dublin girl. We all loved it there!

A vibrant irish/british community, with occasional band appearances and open air dining. Handy pond available for a quick dip to wash away the beer!!!
