excellent looking club inside and out, but the staff is very rude like they dont care about your business, and you cant even have a very good time, as soon as you have a couple drink they watch you like a hawk, this has happened many times we have gone there, not worth the price of admission, thats why wild bull is taking all of their business

WAY SIDE sucks...if you like white trailer trash then i reccomend thisbar.. there are 2 trailer parks right behind it and thats where all the broke ass people who dont have cars and cant get anywhere else go! Horrible atmosphere horrible drinks horrible service...FIrehouse is the place to go!

Wayside is definitely the best bar in town, the bartenders are always friendly and always hot!

I am a 39 year old male who worked as an assistant professor at Western Michigan University for about 3.5 years. I have always loved the party scene and some good, clean fun and I have to admit that of all the bars that I have been in my life, Wayside is by far the best. Even though it is located in a relatively small U.S. city, it does have the feel of a big city bar. The place is very safe, the drinks are quite good, the prices are reasonable, and the fun is plenty. The place can though improve its music a bit by playing more recent dance tunes but other than that, it's all good at Wayside. I will never forget the good times I had there on saturday nights and the fun I had with my friends and students. Now, I am gone to my home country of Cyprus but maybe one day I will get to visit Wayside again.

The bartenders at Wayside are incredibly rude and cocky. They should just do what they are paid to do and at least pretend to be friendly. If it wasnt for the bartenders i would probably go more often.

This is a must place for all to go, u wud never find any palce like it in any other city, I have tried clubs in Detroit, Chicago but never had any fun as much as in way side

I love wayside. The family that ownes it is awesome, and they are all very friendly. Sometimes you have to wait for a drink, but that is the price you pay for being at a busy bar. Also to those people who said that the drinks are expensive, $3 for a rum and coke. Are you kidding me? You want expensive go to Firecrotch (I mean firehouse) or anywhere else. Wayside is pretty inexpensive for drinks. ANyway if anyone needs a good place to go on wed, sat. Go to wayside. Leave thursday for y-bar!!!

Wayside is a place to go if you're in the mood to be hit on. Clearly men go there to pick up women and are typically unwilling to take no for an answer. You literally have to tell a man to go away in order to have a conversation with your friends. Other than that the drinks are reasonable and the bouncers and owners are fabulous! The bartenders are typically less then friendly but they do their jobs and serve up the drinks.

music is boring!! same old songs all the time! if i can listen it on the radio why should i go out and spend money?

I'm 26 and have been going to wayside for 5 years... Atmosphere is always great. If you looking to get messed up, talk to the girls at the VIP Bar - tell them you want a "Car Crash"... It's all liquor. The same family that owns Wayside also owns Y-Bar (W. Michigan & Howard) - They are great too. Both places have a 4 dollar Yager Bomb which is the way I like to get the party started.

I've never been to this bar on a regular bar night, But I've been here for the past two new years eve parties. Never had a better time in my life both night. The staff does seem to try and kick you out a little bit prematurely after last call, but the rest of the night was great.

I live in Kalmazoo and I go to the wayside club/bar every saturday......and I love the place!! The staff are very friendly and they dont allow any fighting in the club.The drinks are expensive but the experience you will have,will make up for the cost.The bar is free of charge and the club admisson is only $3.00{$5.00...for VIP}.The DJ plays a variety of music...and he takes requests.The people who come vary in age and race{but you must be 21 and up to get in}and for the most part,show their respect.I am a true wayside girl{I dontmiss a wed or sat}and I would say this is the best club I have ever been to.PS...if you dont like the club scene you can hang out at the bar.I would als like to make a commet on someone's comment from this page...the person stated that this club is for people who basically want to hook up with someone and for girls who are waiting to be 'friendly"...well...I believ you could and will find that at any club you go .I do have to say...the staff will not allow people to get too "freaky"...the staff makes sure people have limits onto how "freakkky "they can get{unlike some clubs that allow people to get as "freaky" as they want to get.PS.....I am at the club every week and I dont go home with anyone....I go because I love the club and this is the only place where I feel truely comfortable and will always feel comfortable and will always ave the best time of my life.

When I lived in K-zoo it was the place to go on Wed and Sat night. After living in Las Vegas and Chicago I still think highly of the Wayside. The staff is rude, security that is. Their ego is as large as the bar. Its just nice to have a bar that offers it all.

It was definitely a college kids hang out! I was in town for one night and stumbled upon a hot club! Good music, lots of cool people. But it took WAY too long to get a drink and took even longer to go to the bathroom!

A must if you're into the frat boy and sorority girl scene. A veritable meat market with a bevy of babes just waiting to get friendly. Very large, multi-leveled facility with seperate dance club. Lots of fun for the just 21!

Wayside is the place to be on Saturday nights.......Thursday and Fridays are Firehouse nights...

Staff is rude and inconsiderate, and drinks are not worth the money you have to pay.

College bar- I'd say one of the largest bars in Michigan. Very nice!!!!
