A fantsastic tasting beer that never fails to satisfy. I was blown away the first time I tried it.
redback beer is without doubt the absolute nectar of the gods. a magnificent beer, beautiful in winter,bloody magnificent in summer.
I don't know how anyone can find this beer nice. With all the beers I tried in 2 months last year Redback would have to be the worst I tried. I didn't like its wine type taste. I still managed to get through it and try another 7 beers though.
Who'da thunk it. The Aussies DO know how to make something other than lager. Very pleasant West Australian wheat beer - more from the Bavarian than the Belgian school (i.e. more like Erdinger than Hoegaarden). Makes a nice change, though not so good as a session beer - like most Wheat beers, it tends to settle in your stomach after a few pints. Good with food. Cheers.
