On the 7th day god created Tooheys new for all bogan tight asses in Australia.........terrible beer, chemically preserved heavily as is Extra Dry.....Tooheys use weird chemical preservatives that dehydrate the body quicker. Also tastes like complete crap. Boags or James Squires should be iconic of Australian brewing not this piss with bubbles.
this is the best. i live for this beer. if i recieved one dollar for every tooheys i drank i would be the richest prick in the world. who ever invented tooheys new i will raise my stubby for u.
Best beer on earth - I grew up on the stuff. Damn terrible I cant get it in the States though.
Well I dont drink beer much but I chose Tooheys New as part of my uni major and I must say all aspects of Tooheys New are outstanding and comprehensive.
The beer itself, well after a major party to celebrate my High Distinction, was wonderful. It was tasteful and enjoyable.
Everything to do with this beer brand, including the taste, was outstanding compared to VB and Fosters which had information which lacked detail and the taste... well no where near as good as Tooheys New.
Great beer
Decent enough session lager. Somewhat a case of damning with faint praise but I reckon it's the best of the mass-market Aussie beers. About a notch above Kronenbourg, Grolsch or the like from the Europeans beers. Worth having a few, and often the best of the budget options when backpacking in Oz.
Poor. Slightly unpleasant taste. All right if it's free and there's nothing else. Advertising is pitched towards the unthinking, jingoistic market. There are many, many better beers in Australia alone.
Shocking, chemical filled stuff. Coopers and Hahn Premium a much better bet.
This was the best beer that i found to drink in australia! It had a great flavor and went down great. For you americans it had a similar flavor to bud light, but stronger and better. You should try this beer.
An awesome beer, which is very easy to drink and is light for those summer's days in hot weather. Provided many good evenings in Australia, and I probably provided many dollars to the Tooheys bank account :D
