By far the best beer I have ever encountered. I loved the smooth, clean flavor. None of that awful aftertaste that some beers have, very clean finish. I loved that beer when I was in AU, and miss it every time I have a beer here (US). Nothing compares... at least none of the crap they have here... only one thing reasonably close that I have encountered so far. Still trying though. I gave it a 9 simply because my experience in the numerous types of beer is relatively limited, so I have to say that it might be possible that there's something better... but I doubt it.
Carlton Draught is a top aussie beer on tap. its clean and smooth, and at the Prince Albert bar in the casino on the Gold Coast on a tuesday its $3 a pint. Notably on that night there are more Gold Coast hotties in there than dollars in ones pocket. dont buy it in stubbies or tinnies
The best Aussie beer.I drank thousands of litres of it during my two-week holidays!!! You can drink it all night without stopping.
Lovely. Smooth, creamy and very drinkable. I keep coming back to this one.
There is nothing better than Carlton Draught on tap, you can get excited about Boag's, Redback etc but you aren't comparing apples with apples. If you are looking for a good beer on tap, don't go further than Carlton Draught. I'll ignore your comments about Melbourne Bitter too.
You people are giving Carlton 6s and 7s and praising it? What are you, English? Try Redback, Mountain Goat Hightail Ale (better by far on tap), James Squire Amber Ale (again, better on tap), anything by Cooper's or Boags. Keep away from: Tooheys, Melbourne Bitte, VB, Geelong Bitter, West End and Piss (what they serve at the Great Britain hotel in Melb, eew).

Without a doubt my favorite beer, refreshing taste, no hangovers... I might just go have one now.
Good beer. Lets you drink all night long into the early morning hours...
