Delirium Tremens by TVPicard
This is some outstanding beer. Anyone that say's any different should get them selves checked out by a medical professional or quit drinking beer all together. Anyone that knows a premium beer like this should be chilled and poured into a freshly rinsed glass, Not drank out of the bottle. I just got back for a 1+ month trip to Europe and had to make 3 stops into the Delirium Cafe, Right across the street from the hard to find Janneken Pis. This beer was so good I paid the extra $$$ to bring 2 cases back to the states because I was not sure I could find it here. I foung it for $13.99 a 4 pack here and it is well worth it. Do your self a favor and try a few of these. Remember they are 8.5% so drink a couple for taste. B^)
I have been drinking this beer for about 2yrs. off and on when can get it. WE are in Chicago, IL USA.
I purchased a 4 pack in Sept. 2008.
We drank 2 straight from the bottle. I left the other 2 in the fridge. Sunday, I opened the last 2 and pured in a glass. There was this funk floating in the glass. As I drained it, It felt slimy in the glass. It was the most disgusting thing I heave ever seen.
Have you ever seen anything like that? It also was very bubbly, more than normal.
My concern is that my friend and I drank it from the bottle not knowing about this slime floating.
I sent an email to the brewery also.
Respond if you ever heard of this.
Thank you,
if there was a 11 i would give it a actuall full rating...... the family brewiery huyhge makes a fine ale... i am pretty sure that my ancestors in belgium are the ones behind this great ale. huyghe/ huyge .. it has been americanized so people can pronounce my name..... i think jeff should try a glass of my piss and rate that ... you arigant mother fucker.....
hands down the best beer i have ever had. its smooth and delicious. i could live on this stuff.
Delirium Tremens is the only beer in the to tell the truth about itself on the label. Pink elephants, performing crocodiles and monkeys... It reminds me of something the druid Getafix might have brewed up. Dangerous and fascinating. Alongside Chimay as one of the finesest of all beers in the world.
Excellent Flavor, Excellent Alcohol Content... Love the ceramic bottle.
excellent flavor..higher alcohol content than i like usually..worth it though...new favorite
A distinct creamy flavour, hints of corriander and lemon a slight nutty aftertaste but not to put you off. A good thick frothy head, a deep golden body, and a taste of a mature barley wine, while still being refreshing on a hot summers day. The Delerium Tremens Pink Elephant Cafe in Brussels is a pleasure to visit, friendly, convivial, and relaxing, the venue to visit for all drinkers of the DT and the even better Delerium Nocturnum and Delrium Noel. As for the sore sucker, I think he should find some Watneys Red Barrel to drink as it would be more to his liking, mentaly. cheers! to DT.
When I was younger, I accidentally chewed on a band-aid that had covered a foot sore between my big and second toe. This beer distinctly reminds me of that taste.
This is a really good beer! It has won several international beercontests all over the world. And is still considered as (one of) the best beer(s) in the world.

Probably the best beer in the world. A delicious flavour. Without a doubt my all time favourite. Would sell my ma to get bottles of this.
