Love it! Great with Hoegaarden. Just pour a Hoegaarden and top off with a little Kriek....awesome. The other Lindeman flavors are just as good!
Some beer drinkers will say Kriek is too sweet _ (some call it Lady Beer). And the women do like it - my girlfriend's favorite beverage. But I'm a pretty discerning beer drinker and I like it a lot too. Yes it's fruity but the sweetness isn't overpowering. If you like sweet beers, this is the best. By the way, the fruit is cherry. Lindeman's also makes a Framboise (raspberry) and a peach and I think a black courant.
It is the drink of the gods! One of Belgiums finest. Leffe Blonde is also lovely.
Kriek has a pink-red color and a delicious taste of sparkling cherry champagne. You could drink it all night! For the Info, a Lambic is a beer with an old tradition: accounts dating from 1559 mention the production of Lambic "according to an old recipe". It is a 30% wheat, 70% malt spontaneous fermented beer seasoned with hops.
