Does any one know of a bar in Los Angeles that serves Belikin beer? THANKS!
i drank a cold belikin beer on the dock after an afternoon of scuba diving in Belize.that was the best tasting, most refreshing beer i have had in a long time.on the plane ride home i planned on getting more Belikin as soon as i got back to the states. unfortunatly i have yet to find it.
Actually 8.5. Best beer brewed in the Caribbean! The regular Belikin is the one to drink. The premium is weak and Lighthouse Lager is typical tasting, the stout is very nice but too sweet for my taste (but makes a good half/half). Cost was $1.50 USD at the stores and about $2 USD at Ambergris bars.
My wife and I visited gthe Wet Lizare where we had our first taste of Belikin Beer. Of course it was hot and we were thirsty, but this is a smooth and great tasting beer. I am now looking for it here in the US.
The only time (sadly) that I have tried Belikin Beer was in Belize waiting for the Belizian customs officials to release a truck and boat I was reposessing for a bank up here in Texas. I ended up in Belize City for two weeks total and only discovered Belikin three nights before I was to leave. I drank copious amounts of it almost ceaselessly until my departure. God, that was the best beer! The reason I found this site was to search for how to get some more! Gimme gimme gimme...
Have to admit being a Canada or US beer drinker I was not expecting much out of the local beers on my trip to Belize. I was very much surprised and enjoyed the Beer over the other styles. Went well with the food and my system as well
This beer is simply amazing! It is great, nothing short of perfect! I visited Belize on a cruise and this was the only highlight of Belize, but it was a grand one! I would drink it everyday like water if it were readily available to me!! For those of you who have not tried it, drink!! This shit is great!
I tried a Belikin from a cart at the Belize airport and it was very good. But at the first restaurant all they had was the Premium which was weak like an American Beer. They said that was all they served to the ourists. At most bars they had real Belikin so I survived. I am 70 years old and have had my share of beers in the 30+ countries I have traveled. Drinking a Stella Artois right now. I am going back to central America in a few weeks and will sample them all again.
it is the best beer i have ever tasted.i have tried alot of beers from all over.10 out of 10 keep it up.
I've had beers from all over the world, and I've not had one that is a s good as a Belikin. Just a plain 12 oz bottle with a Mayan Temle on the label. If anyone finds it here please post where. Any where here is closer than Belize.
WOW!.. Is such a limited expression for my true reaction. I am a definite and confirmed Red Wine Drinking. I left the beer days back in college. HOWEVER, that all changed the day our plane landed in Belize. As our tour guide drove us into the hills of San Ignacio to the Windy Hill Resort is was natural that he would pull over for a quick bite to eat. Well. Well. Well. The spot was a nice local eatery with a very limited wine selection and I've learned my lesson well about drinking unmentionable wines. My eyes fall upon Belikin on the menu...a Buck 25 US? Give me one of those! Next thing ya know 9days later into my vacation not only have I consumated a lovely union but was deemed a woman with Belikinitis by my traveling companion. Needless to say, when you pick up a Belikin--beware cause you will never put it down. And yes it is true Belikinitis is contagious and there is no cure!. Please wish me luck on my US search for the Belikin.
the regular belikin is ok, much like heinikin, the premium is kinda standard. the stout however, is amazing. best beer ive ever had. i like it much better than guiness. i love it.

Belikin is fantastic!!!!! I just got back for a month in Belize and I drank Belikin everyday! It was so fresh, I never received a hang over! I miss it and I too, am having a hard time finding it in the states.
I had a couple after an excursion and before getting back on our cruise ship. Great flavor that left a sweet memory embedded in my brain. Took home a couple of souvenir glasses. Would love to get a hold of some here in the US.
This is the best beer that I have ever had anywhere in the world. After a tour of the factory drinking it fresh, only hours old, I could not put a bottle down until I left. I have even tried to sneak some back to the states just so I can savor the taste back here.
I realy don't care for most beers! Belikin is one of the tastiest beers I have ever encountered. The fact I will have to visit belize often to taste it makes it even more enticing. I am trying to get some imported but Belizeans seem to drink it all before there is any left for us here in the states. Oh, darn guess I will have to plan another trip to Belize.
this beer is the best man nothing beets this beer as far as i know its the best f**king beer in the wolrd if u dont believe that then u havent tasted it yet
Tried all types of Belikin. My wife and I loved it. The price was right too. We were very surprised to find that Belikin was the only beer sold in the country, but were not disappointed after downing a few. We're now trying to find some here in the states.
Nice to see a high rating. In 1980 I could only drink the stuff if it was cold!
Four varieties of Belikin were sampled on our 1 week stay in Belize: Belikin Premium, Belikin Beer, Lighthouse Lager, and Belikin bottled Draft. All were very pleasant. The Belikin Beer was my favourite, full flavored and malty; the premium a little less so. The Lighthouse was a pretty typical light beer. The waiter described it as a "beer for women". The bottled draft was nice but unremarkable. I would rate the Belikin Beer a 7 of 10.
