A perfect beer... unique taste n smell... simply the best i've tried so far...
I tried few times several years ago.VERY good beer.In fact , Sarajevsko beer is in the top 15 beers of the world.Superior taste , after all.
Absolutely AMAZING beer! I used to drink when i was in military business a year ago.I suggest to drink it COLD.It is a light beer, very refreshing and if u are smart enough , you can find in the center of Sarajevo , their brewery called Sarajevska Pivara
- Pivara means brewery on Bosnian.At the brewery you can buy it almost for free , and there is also a pub inside the factory , very stylish and good!
Again to clear all misunderstands ,SARAJEVSKO BEER IS EXCELLENT BEER.
BiH BEER IMPORTERS LLC. sells this beer out of connecticut and can deliver anywhere in east coast and some central plains......great beer by the way....drinking one now!

Want to live in Sarajevskooooooooo
While spending 1 yr in Bosnia with the military, I spent many days drinking at the Sarajevska Pivera in downtown Sarajevo. Not only is their pilsner great, but their best is their dunkle, smooth and crisp with a carmel flavor. Good luck getting any in the U.S.
I remeber drinking Sarejevska Pivo in 1999-2000 when I was assigned to Bosnia (Sarajevo). I found it very tasty if a bit fizzy. I like mor ehops and a bitter beer, so this was not bad.
Whilst serving with the UN in 1995 in the fantastic and most beautiful city of Sarajevo I found the pivo revolting, and after cosuming a few half litres I had exploding diohrea.
MMMM thanx sarajevsko pivo... (we used to pick up our water supply from the brewery)
Ok guys, first of all the sarajevsko pivo is quality beer,
and you cant compare it to american trash budweiser or miller beer.These are watery beers with no flavor at all.
sarajevsko pivo is one of the best beers in bosnia and there are preminger pivo from bihac,tuzlanski pilsner from tuzla and many many more..so dont tell me whats quality and whats not..
Excellent beer, and though I don't usually like darker beers, the dark version had a great taste...hint- go to the Sarajevsko brewery, which is in Sarajevo city centre, for ridiculously cheap prices
Always loved this beer. Had many of these in Bosnia and loved it from the first drop. This will be the first thing that goes down my throat when I get back there.
Hello out there! Unfortunately I can't rate this beer because I have not tried it yet. Seems to be impossible to get any Bosnian beer in Germany. Is there anybody out there knowing a place in Germany where I can buy Bosnian beer? Any help would be highly appreciated!

Sarajevsko has officially moved up one slot in rank to my top 10 favorite beers. If you love a smooth, refreshing, light lager; you'll love sarajevsko. Certainly a "must try". I'm currently searching Northern Virginia to stock my refrigerator!
This beer is simply GOOD, easy to drink, with it's own taste, unforgettable...
After visiting Bosnia two times in 2004, this was my beer of choice in that enchanting country. Sarajevsko Pivo certainly doesn't hold up well when compared to the best German brews (or even some American micro-breweries.) But, the Bosnian's are very passionate about their beer. I must say, I have now adopted their practice of drinking room-temperature beer, straight from the pantry, during the colder months. Prijatno!
I've try this one in 1996, when I was in Bosnia... It was the only beer we can find in this "post war" era. The first taste was pretty bad, but on a long time, it was finally ok. After my 6 months over there, I bring 1 can to my father, and after he drink it, he was sick for 2-3 days...
I have tasted one can at home. That was not bad experience.
Basic beer, but the surrounding element makes you want only this one. best is to arrive in sarajevo in the middle of the night knowing nothing about the place, and then get a few bottles of Sarajevsko pivo and relax on a parkbench figuring out your next move.
