Sarajevsko - Best Beer on base!!

In 2005 I was stationed at Camp Butmir in Sarajevo. I was attached to a NATO unit, but it is a joint base (this is all public record). There were between 7-10 "bars" on base at any given time depending on which country had representatives there. SAMS (Soldiers Airmen Marines and Sailors) Club was the American bar, and the most populare on the base. They had Sarajevsko (the dark brew) on tap all the time, and I put away my fair share of this beer. I am a huge Guiness fan, and typically go for the darker beers. Sarajevsko, while very different from any beer I've ever tasted, became just about the only thing I drank in the 4 months I was there. They had Guiness at SAMS Club and several good brews from various countries at the other bars, but this beer is simply amazing. I haven't looked into getting some back here in the states, but any bar serving this beer would quickly become my favorite!
