first time i drink zagorka in golden sands and is was very nice beer compliments
Not a bad lager by any means. Goes down relatively smooth. Taste of hops very clear, more so then most lagers I have tasted. Very plaintiveness taste, yet not overly sour. Decent full taste lager. Would prefer a Lech over this, but this even beats Henie in my comparisons...
Zagorka is better than most lagers out there. When I was first in Bulgaria 25 years ago you had trouble finding Zagorka. I have since done blind tests with Zagorka against a range of premium lager opposition and all my friends were unanimous about which one they thought best. There looks to be a big push to import it into this country (well it is now a subsidiary co. of Heineken) by a company called Fullback. I think the word was that Morrisons and Waitrose would son be selling it.
Excellent taste. Brings great memories from the Bulgarian seaside. The unique flavor is just too good for its prise.
A very good premium lager beer. Modarately strong after taste, definitely distinctive. And cheap.
Dunno what the other guy was on a bout - ive been t obulgaria a few tmes now with groups of friends - and we love zagorka -yes it is cheap which makes it even better.
we all looked forward to an ice cold glass of zagorka after a days snowboarding!!
shame i cant get it imported to the UK - one of the best beers ive had.
Not so tasty Bulgarian beer, but excellent when you don't have a lot of money!!!
