Imperial is the local favorite, but always gave me a headache. Pilsen is better, but gives me a bitter beer face on the first one. Bavaria Gold (oro) is my favorite and I drink 6- 10 per night. I spend more money on beer than anything. I have lived there for 6 years now. Tip: Get a case of bottles and return the empties when buying a new case. Your price drops from 1.10 per beer to 70 cents per beer. Ofcoarse i converted colones to dollars in my thinking.

Imperial 7 Points (but still quiet good)

After 2 full depressing days of finding nothing but imperial beer and deciding it tasted like ass, i almost wished i could find a cold bottle of blatz. then we finally found a store that sold bavaria beer. God bless the super mas!
Extremley happy to discover Bavaria dark after suffering the first (2) days of our (10) day vacation drinking Imperial.
I lived in Costa Rica for 3 months and missed not being able to order Newcastle....Imperial is ok, but once I found Bavaria going out was a lot more fun! :)
