How do I find this beer in California by danne24
I am looking for Presidente in Sacramento California and can not find it any where. Any ideas? I heard I can get it here but no luck. Any help appreciated.
anyone know where i could get some in Australia, i went there to punta Cana and santo domingo, and holy guacamole, thats some top stuff, and i been close to 40 countries, countries with good beer

We just came back from Punta Cana, DR and Presidente and Bohemia are the two most popular beers there. i found that Presidente was better than Bohemia. If you live in Edmonton, AB Canada there is a place called Sherbrooke Liqour which carries over 500 different beers from all over the world and I heard that they carry Presidente as well.
Basic macro beer. Good if your having 10 but weak if your only having 1 or 2.
first of all i love beer, and presidente from dominican republic is the best beer i ever had and i;ve had them all. and it taste good with clamato, guys and girls dont knock it til u try it. hard but fine
Presidente is worse than Corona, is a water down beer definitely a poor quality beer like every other Spanish beer.
If you going to drink beer drink German beers they are the best beers in the world, for all of you who think that Presidente is consider a beer take the time to educated your self before you make ridiculous comments about this shitty yellow Sprite made from rotted bananas.
Excellent beer! Searched Houston high and low a while back and no luck. Only trips to Florida, New York or DR to quench my thirst. Where is it sold in Houston?
I drank El Presidente until 3 am and never got lit. One of the reviews said 5% but I think a lot less. I was drinking draught.

FWI for everyone, I work for Presidente USA INC. and just want to fill you guys in on some up coming things. Presidrnte Beer is on the way to more and more US states starting in 2008 i can not tell you were yet but its coming and with in a few years we hope to be in all 50 states. the light is out now and is selling like crazy. I appreceate all the support from all the Presidente beer lovers, keep on drinking it. And for the people that do not think it is the same beer as the one in the DR you are wrong it is the same beer its just put into a differnet bottle because we do not use a returnable bottle for Presidente in the States like they do in the DR. the alc content is the same too. 6% for Presidente and 4.3% for Presidente Light. so it is the same beer as the one in the DR i swear i was at the brewary last month and saw the process of the usa product being made it is the same.
PRESIDENTE AND PRESIDENTE LIGHT THE TRUE TASTE OF THE CARIBBEAN. AND IS NOW THE #1 SELLING CARIBBEAN BEER IN THE WORLD.
Presidente, okay its not bad, and for the area or the Americas its quite good - a lot better than the beer produced in the US.
But compared to german beers its mediocre.
AFAIK the are preservatives in the beer - disgusting.

presidente is good. I get it at my the corner store in the kwik e mart lol. i live in miami,fl i thought presidente was u.s. wide but i guess not. w.e does beer go bad after 2 months?? lol im drinkin a presidente beer 2 months old n taste good lol
Great Beer, Not only does it taste great but it will clench your thirst in the tropic weather of DR.
You can literally drink this beer all day and not get wasted from all the sweating you do down there.

My husband and I just returned from the Dominican Republic and the Presidente beer is by far the best. It would really be a big seller here in the U.S. of A.
Well, Im dominican and live in the DR. You guys are right, Presidente IS the best beer in the world. However, the one they sell overseas is not the same as the local one, thats because Presidente had to come up with a lower alcohol content to comply with foreign laws. Anyone interested, wrtite me an email and I can do arrangements to get you a couple of cases shipped to your city via sea cargo, NOT free of course, but nothing to become righ out of it, just enought to cover expenses.
I have been a beer drinker for over 16 years and have tried almost any kind I could get my hands on. But on a recent trip to Punta Cana, I was formally introduced to Presidente. For some reason the first 3 or 4 are great and the last 3 or 4 are spectacular. I am not sure on how the beer is put together overall but amazing none the less. I was an avid Heinken, Corona, and Coors drinker for years, now I have another one to add to my list of great beers. I am trying some of the local liquor stores and grocers to find this wonderful tasting beer but no luck. If anyone could help me find El Presidente in Wisconsin would be greatly appreciated.

Im rating this a ten, because my cuz said this is the best beer that he has ever tasted. For anyone that is looking to buy this beer in the states, they sell it in Houston, Texas-i know that for sure.
This is one of the bestest beers I have ever tasted. Anyway, I can see that the people who gave Presidente a low rate is because they do not have any idea about beers. I can tell you that Presidente is worth anything and made the trip to the Dominican Republic an incredible experience.

For everyone looking for it - go to any Bodega you will find it. The major cities with any type of Dominican/Latin population will have it.
it is 5.0 % here in the US. Better when drinken very very cold. It is a great pilsener, puts Heineken to shame.
Nothing better than a cold 12 pack.

Awesome taste. Refreshing. Had it on Vacation in the Dominican. Its unique taste has that sort of Heineken skunkiness...I mean that in a good way. Outstanding!

ok...so im only 16 n im dominican...yes...PRESIDENTE ES LO MEJOR!!! its rocks n well in DR u can drink at any age...so really it dont matter...but i love the beer!!
Correct me if i am wrong, but almost any beer is good ice cold. Will it give americans the green apple two step? (Thats the shits in case you were wondering) And what about those who liken it to piss beer? I am going to DR in july 07 and need a beer i can drink ALOT of.(all inclusive deal)and am not a fan of Corona----A TRUE PISS BEER.I have worked in mexican restaraunts for many years and NONE of my mexican co-workers will touch the stuff!!! It's simple Hot weather = cold presidente beer...!!
and lets me tell you presidente isn't like american beers, you need to drink it very cold and you'll taste the best...

Whoever sais Corona sucks and Miller sucks obviously just drinks beer to bee cool. Bud Light is the worst beer I have ever had. It has horrible taste and gives me the shits. Miller Lite is by far better so fuck off Bud Light people. Corona is a great beer. It has the bad after taste because it gets very hot in transport in a clear bottle to the states. Try it in Mexico where it is made. No lime is needed. Same with Prez. I am a true American, but I admit, those mexicans can make some damn good beer. A Senor, uno cervesa! Corona or Prez. Bud light sucks!!!

I think this beer is quite honestly the best beer that I have ever tasted. It was very nice when driving in the lovely Dominicain Sunshine to stop and have a quick Presidente. For those people that said that it is not good, you are just crazy and saying that it is not as good as Bud is just Mental. Bud tastes like p i s s and it is only good for cleaning the floor with as it has so many chemicals in it. PRESIDENTE IS THE BEST IN ITS CLASS. IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE, YOU SHOULD BE PUT IN A STRAIGHT JACKET AND SENT TO A MENTAL HOSPITAL FOR TESTS ON YOUR BRAIN.
This isn't much better from your standard American macrobrew. If you like American macrobrews (Budweiser, Coors, Miller, etc.) you will probably like this. If you are a true beer afficionado, you will be sorely disappointed.
