Erdinger Weissbier - Beer, Other - Reviews & Comments

The only reason to go to an all bar one.

Visiting Germany about five years ago I was introduced to Erdinger Weisbier and Erdinger Crystal bier and have been hooked ever since. It took a while to find it in the UK. I first stumbled across the weisbier in Morrisons and then later on in Majestic Wines, who inncidently only sell it by the case (12 bottles). Once you have the taste this is the cheapest way to buy it. I must recomend that you drink the weisbier with a large slice of lemmon in it. Yes this might sound strange but thats the way the Germans drink it and I assure you it makes a difference, once tried you will not go back to without. I have never managed to find the crystal weisbier in England though I am still on the look out. I assure you you will not find a beer like this brewed in the UK. Its Nectar.

Can't argue with those comments. The best widely available Weissbier. (By widely available I mean you CAN buy it outside Germany if you look hard enough).

Sexiest beer ever

I have had Germany beers in the past, but Erdinger is the best. I have only seen it in the All Bar One chain.
