Bitburger - Ich liebe mein Bit

I have traveled throughout Europe and can say Bitburger is by far the best beer I have ever had. We all have different tastes, and anyone who puts anyone down for liking Bitburger is odd. I lived in Bettingen for 3 years and the locals do not put Cola in it...don't know where the author got that. If he was in the Eifel, there was no Cola, but if you go outside of the Eifel, then each Stadt has their own "local" beir and they are protective of it. So maybe the author was elsewhere when the bartender said have a Coke, ein Bit und a smile. LOL. Anyway, I can get it in the states since I am in the military. I would also say try Czechvar from Czech Rep, and Baltika from Russia. They have a similar taste as Bit but have a unique style as well. So, I love Bit and drink other beers too. Prosit!
