Well what can I say???
A very Real,& Regal Bavarian Beer!
Ive drunk this beer in NYC,Toronto,& its birth place Munich...
Decided to stay put in London,where you can find this brew in some supermarkets,& in several pubs...
A truley excellent German Export...WunderBrau!
Lowenbrau beer is sold in Chicago for anyone willing to make a three hour trip or anyone who live there.
I love the Lowenbrau Light ! Does anyone still make it? The special was good too. I guess no one makes it anymore. But how about the light? Please let me know!
Lowenbrau Dark & Oktfst are not being imported into the US at this time. Someday they will again. I too liked the taste.
I live near Fresno, Calif and I can not find anywhere that sales or distributes Lowenbrau Dark, can anyone help me find someone who does???

This beer is consistantly good and me and my partner love it.
Trouble is that no-one, NO-ONE! seems to stock it.

That some bs budwiser bought the rights?Now they dont sell it damn big bisnesses so damn greedy.Now that I know this I am boycotting all bush and bud products.
The distribution rights for Lowenbrau was recently sold from LaBatt USA to Anheuser Busch in February, 2007. The telephone # for LaBatt no longer works to find the nearest distributors.
Lowenbrau dark is by far the best beer ive ever consumed along with the original not only were they great tasting but for less that $4.00 a 6 pack it was a great bargain i almost felt guilty getting such a fine beer for such a slim price. its been about 7 yrs since they pulled it of the shelves here. i was told by one of my beer dist. that they stopped importing it. why?

The owner of my beer store told me that Budweiser took over the distribution in the southeast and pulled it from the market. Too much competition, I suppose.

I also love this beer and had to hunt for it and I finally found it! I order it by the case once a week and I have been in Lowenbrau heaven ever since! Now if I could only find it on tap.....
An amazing beer, such a classic. Oddly enough it's not too hard to find in Florida, or at least Miami. Great smooth beer and after reading all this i'm definalty going to order a pizza.

Saw a guy in Opelika, Alabama with what looked like a "throwback" beer jacket for Miller. On the right sleeve was the Lowenbrau patch. Made me think of the old commercial "Tonight, let it be Lowenbrau." How I miss that beer.

for those who dont know, the problem with Lowenbrau is this...it was made and distributed by Miller for ages, but then they gave up their rights to do so...either that or their license expired from Lowenbrau Germany...anyway, Labatt's of Canada took over and switched it back to the original German taste (Miller had "Americanized" the taste...the original is a tad on the hoppy side)...so that's why it's hard to find now...Miller made it available everywhere, but now that Labatts took over, you don't see it as much...although in this small town I live in (Savannah, TN) has it at the local quickie mart...little more expensive now, but still worth it...still can't find the dark though!!!!! it's sooo good with pizza!
I was able to buy Lowenbrau all over Michigan, but since I moved to Georgia, I have not been able to find it.
If you live in the GA Are you con find lowenbrau at Harry's Famrer's market but that's only the Lite
lowenbrau special it's my favorite beer but i can't find it anywhere anymore! the only thing i can get here in austin tx. is the original but i want my lowenbrau special!
Wonderful Beer. Always tastes great but somehow seems just that bit better when in the Lowenbrau Beer Hall in Munich

Lowenbrau makes (or made) a Hefeweissen beer that came in an 16oz can that was orange where the blue normally is, available in Germany and Holland that was amazingly good. Searching for it on the internet with no luck.
was able to get it at "market of chouse"eugene,oregon..from "mt. hood beverage co. ph.#541-747-5242...bug them; keep the spirits flowing, hard to keep it in stock...the best beer around.

I hear ya Joseph. I can't find Lowenbrau anywhere in the Vancouver, WA area. I stopped seeing it about 3 years ago. Its my favorite beer and I can't even drink it! Sure wish I knew who around my area sold it.
