Paffgen - Beer, Lager - Reviews & Comments

This is the best Kölsch I have ever had. I go back to Köln ever year and I frequent this place as much as I can while I am in town. The also have great food and it has a really cool German Bierhaus atmosphere. If you just want to try the beer, you can go down the street to the Paff (a more “hipper” and contemporary bar that is owned by Paffgen) and sample the beer straight from the tap without having to wait for a table. I recommend the haven hen und brot plate as an appetizer and a Jaggerschnitzel as your main entrée. I give this place a 10 out or 10.
