Same story, tried the Gallo in Guatemala, fine, but just like our budweiser and gave me a headache . . . Tried Moza on a whim and loved it. Los Guatamaltecos got a kick out of the fact that I like it . . . apparently only for lactating women! hehehe. It was hard to find in a bottle, but better than the can. I too wish that I could get it here in the US, but only the mexican beers seem to get here.
Moza is a great beer for those who like to appreciate a dark bitter beer, it's the best I recommend it!
If you want try something different try mixing a Gallo (also from Guatemala) w/ lime and Moza, it taste really good too.
Of course if you are a dark beer drinker like me just enjoy Moza by itself.

I went to Guatemala 3 years ago. The first beer I tried was Gallo. I really enjoyed it, but wanted something a little stronger. Then I found Moza. Wow!! I couldn't believe such an excellent beer could be found in a little third world country. I am going back to Guatemala in a few months. I can hardly wait to taste Moza again. I want to start exporting it into the United States.
I drank Moza for two meals a day for three weeks in Guatemala. Where are the importers on this one!?
Traveling in Guatemala in the 80s, I couldn't wait to get back to Mexico (and then the US), the Guatemalan beers were so bad. I finally got back to Guatemala in '04 and '05 and was thrilled to find Moza. It's hard for me to be objective about this: how would I like it next to some other greats here at home? I've only had it in Guatemala, where I love it. If I could get it in the US, I'd buy it regularly.
How can you compare them. Caracu really is what it says it is. Shit face. Moza is the best beer in the world. Let's get Mozato!
