A great refreshing beer that I enjoyed on my trip to Roatan. It is far better than most US beers. A nice discovery on the trip.
Very refreshing beer w. good taste. Drank a lot of it when I was in Honduras. No longer available in US... wish someone would import it again.
Port Royal - the best beer ever in hot climate. Would be to lame in Sweden, but in Honduras it is just lovely. Oh god I miss it. I know some people prefer Salva Vida, but the only thing that is better with that beer is the name. Imperial is stronger, but that doesn't make it better. Just more macho to drink.
I'm From Honduras. I Can Honestly Say That One of The Best Honduran Beers Is [Port Royal]. It Has 4.8% Of Alcohol. I Personally Think It Has A Great Taste, And If I Had To Compare It With Any Other Beer I Would Compare It With, Heineken. --- Eventhough After You Drink Around 5 Or 6, You End Up With A Peculiar Headache. --- But, As An Overall, It's One Of The Best Honduran Beers.

Knowing this you all know i am from the Country off HEINEKEN.. & Amstel , perooo.. comimng to honduras every year being a Halfblood, i must say undeniably That Port Royal is what it syas ROYAL BEER.. fit for a King , ME!!!.. hahaha a./. salvavida is good to.. but imperial :( , mayb thats a hangover beer?
A good beer with a good taste on draft as well as the bottle. Defiently worth a LIMP.
most satisfying beer I've had--maybe because it was hot in Nov. and I had just left the cruise boat but I bought it from a local store and not knowing the exposed beer rules in Roatan drank out of a paper bag---just like the old days. wish I could get here in the states!
By far, the finest beer I have ever drank. I got turned on to Port Royal while visiting Roatan, Hondurus last January. I can't find Port Royal in Alabama. If anuone knows of a place in Alabama to buy it, please let me know.
Excellent beer, stands right up there with Corona, DOSXXX, Mller Draft, Czechavar, Starno Brno, Belikin and many others. Sal Vida is my wife's favorite, but give me a good ole cold Port Royal and I am off and running

After twenty long yrs , the best thing about being back in Honduras was those cold Port Royals..
So refreshing it was like having soft drinks for me , great tasting a definite no hangover beer.
This is my favorite beer of all time! Having a port royal right off the line in Honduras is like being in heaven! Definite not a hang over beer! Greatest beer of all time!!!
I had 7 beers and two shots of liqour and didn't have a hangover at all. Can't find it in SC. Would love to have more!!!!!
Either the shock from the hot humid weather or the beer itself caused noticable hangover conditions in the morning after only consuming three beers the night before. I don't know what they put in this beer but it will leave you feeling LOUSY in the morning.
