I DO NOT LIKE BEER BECAUSE OF THE BITTER TASTE SO WHEN I HEARD THE COMMERCIAL ON TV I DECIDED TO TASTE IT. I LOVED IT, NO BITTER TASTE AND STAYED WITH THE URGED TO HAVE ANOTHER BUT I SEARCH EVERYWHERE IN THE SUPERMARKETS AND GROCERY STORES(BODEGAS) AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PRODUCT AND BOUGHT THE BOTTLE BEER IN A BAR IN SAN JUAN. THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIKE THIS BEER I SUPPOSE LIKE THE BITTERNESS OF A BEER BUT FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME LOVE IT WHITHOUT THE BITTERNESS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY A SIX PACK IN MY HOME TOWN.

This Beer is the BEST Simplemente its smoth refreshing and you crave for more im from honduras and with a barena you could say for a beer that just started up a couple years compare to corona carib and whatever comes in place it RULES

the name bahia was sued by a RUM company, NOT EVEN IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS BEER!! barena is by far the best beer in central amercia together with port royal grand reserve

This beer is great - if like Corona, you'll love Barena - it's better! Sip it with lime and salt or by itself - and of course, very cold!

In my opinion, Barena is by far the worst beer in Honduras (and one of the worst I've ever tried anywhere). Has a bitter, funky aftertaste. I live down in Honduras and have given Barena several tries, but its metallic twang makes me gag and I cant even finish one bottle. Maybe I'd choose it to take the saltwater taste out of my mouth after a day of scuba diving, I guess if there absolutely was NOTHING else to drink. BTW- this beer used to be called BAHIA, till they were sued by another brewery who was using that name first. So then they switched the name to Barena

Definately the best beer for drinking all night. And after trying it you will most certainly drink all night. Light beer without sacrificing flavour-
